Can't understand the negative comments. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty damn close.

People complain about too much action going on, what did you expect? That's so many heroes in one film and it's a culmination of 10 years of marvel work.
People also complain about lack of depth for each character, yet some people complain that the movie is 2 hours long?
People complain that the humor is forced, actually i found that the amount of humor was normal for marvel standards there were a lot of laughs throughout the whole movie (especially the Drax scene). I bet if there weren't a lot of humor, haters would say that they went the "DC" route.

People will always find something to complain about. Fans wanted an epic war and they got what they want. Lol at rotten tomatoes giving this an 84% score and THE LAST DOGSHIT JEDI getting 91%. Jesus Christ.
Hype makes a certain kind of person dislike something before it even comes out, man. Then watching it just becomes a validation of preconceived hogwash.

LOL @ these fucking scores.

Clowns giving this film 9s and 10s.

It's a 7 at best and a lower-mid-tier Marvel movie overall.

For a comic book movie I feel like it's an easy 9. It's everything most people will want. The culmination (or the first part of the culmination) of a shit ton of movies over a decades time, and they managed to surpass expectations. I'm not really sure what else you'd want from this type of movie.

You don't need a spoiler box anymore, per Dragon.

Did he erase half the universe? The ending to me was confusing.

Thanos appears to get pulled back through a wormhole or something and then half the Avengers disappear.

And Doctor Strange says, "It was the only way."

I didn't get it.

Doctor Strange said earlier that there were 16 million ways they lose to Thanos and only one way they win..I assume this all ties together in the next film

Yeah in the movie he turns Drax into rocks

But once he leaves Drax turned back to normal.. So I didn't really understand that

Why not just keep Drax as rocks you know

He's just altering his daughter's reality. He didnt want to kill her best friends in front of her. He just wanted to get the location of the soul stone from her.

Just saw it for a second time and Spider-Man does say
“from the future”

I thought it was awesome. Felt epic and delivered. It's tough to comment on everything because it was a lot to take in, but, suffice it to say, I thought it was very entertaining. I'll use some of your guys' comments as a jumping off point. Are we spoiler tagging stuff or is this a free for all?

If this is an easy 9, then what is Winter Soldier or the first Iron Man or Guardians of the Galaxy? Because I felt like all of those movies were more interesting than this one by a fairly wide margin.

I'd give them really high scores. For me, there's something special about the balancing act they're able to pull of with so many high profile, important characters. They all get their shine, and their individual stories progress as well, for the most part.

More compact and a tighter storyline is better for these comic book movies

These team up movies are just not on the same level because they have way to much shit happening at once.

I have come to look at team up movies as nothing but novelty

When?

Clearly heard "field trip" if it's when I'm thinking.

I've watched it twice already, time went by like the snap of a finger both times.
I couldn't look away at all. Totally transfixed the entire time.
I would have probably pissed my pants instead of getting up and going to the bathroom, had the need arose.

I'd say this film is better than shit like Thor 2 and Iron Man 3 and Ant-Man and the first two Avengers movies. But it's nowhere near as good as films like Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy or Thor: Ragnarok. Spider-Man: Homecoming and Doctor Strange are also superior.

Yeah, I think we are thinking on the same wavelength here.

"Novelty" seems like the right word.
