At the end of the movie when Thanos erases half the universe

You don't need a spoiler box anymore, per Dragon.

Did he erase half the universe? The ending to me was confusing.

Thanos appears to get pulled back through a wormhole or something and then half the Avengers disappear.

And Doctor Strange says, "It was the only way."

I didn't get it.

ffs we're going to kill off all these super heroz with them just turning to dust & blowing away? Can I please do a re-write where Thanos rips them in half & beats one of them to death with the torso of another. I'm not an advocate of that kind of violence... but I'm just saying that there could've been major opportunities to make some classic screen time deaths where Thanos is just ripping through our favorite super hero'z left & right... but instead of that, lets just have them disolve into dust.

I would assume now that all the Marvel elitists can't bash on star wars any more for making Luke disappear into the force ... so that's a positive I suppose.

I really don't care for that, but we're 50% of the story at this point... so I'll give the story a chance to unfold before i pass to harsh of a judgement. With time travel in the mix, I'm going to assume that everything moves on like none of it ever happened... & everyone is still alive.

Wtf? This is a marvel movie with marvel characters from marvel comic books. Not some R rated horror/action movie.

You know that's going to happen.

That's another issue with these films, there are no stakes. When you see a character get run through with a blade as Iron Man was, you know he's not actually dead.

Like I said, I was mildly entertained.

But I never was really into and fully engaged. I found myself looking at the clock way too many times.

Freddy vs Jason is one of the few horror films I own on Blu-Ray so I'm with you on that one.
