Oh was there? Did they mention him? I just rewatched all the movies don't remember it. Either way still don't think this is the closest Spiderman to the original. The last two were still closer with the last one easily being the most accurate.

I want to say it's mentioned in passing, if it is. You're making me doubt now. lol

I actually thought the last Spiderman was great. This one is to young. Spiderman doesn't get his powers when he's barely in Highschool, no uncle ben, just a lot of changes. Being older and a scientist was a big part of Spiderman and helped him solve a lot of problems. The no uncle ben one was pretty big deal to me it's kind of a core component of Spiderman. The Tobey Maguire one was just missing the smart ass comedy that comes a long with Spiderman.

With all that said I still enjoy this Spiderman the comedy part of Spiderman is my favorite part so at least they have that.
What they captured so well with this Spiderman was the obnoxious, chatter box nature of his personality. No matter what's going on, he's usually narrating out loud, even if there's nobody around to listen. The scene where they were tag teaming Thanos was a perfect use of this. When he's jumping back and forth through the portals going "magic portal kick!" or whatever it was he said..... CLASSIC Peter Parker. Even when he's an adult, Peter basically just acts like a big kid all the time.

I'm very interested in who was left alive for the next movie. All of the original Avengers are still there, Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Hulk, plus Black Widow and presumably Hawkeye. That strikes me as a conscious choice. The original team has to get their shit together and take on Thanos.

Also Nebula was alive, which is significant for anyone who has read the Infinity Gauntlet comic book. And Rocket being the only Guardian left makes me think he'll have a big part to play.
You can add the Vision in that lineup. I think Shuri has a way to revive him.

Can't wait to see Captain Marvel team up with the team and take on Thanos. She is said to be one of the most powerful superhero in the MCU.

thats my favourite part about him..... when they introduced him in Civil War I freaked out when he was kicking the shit out of WS and Falcon while also talking nonstop. It was the first time he's been like the character I imagined in my head as a child after reading the comics. Its perfect

Leading up to this movie the only spoiler like images I have seen is Dragons avatar, Thanos punching iron man, and cap grimacing while pushing back against Thanos hand and Thanos look of surprise.

I fucking loved this movie. Will be watching a few times.
That Cap slow-mo money shot from the trailer was such a fake-out. Good job on them for that.

Where would you rank Infinity War among your comic book movies? I reckon somewhere at the Top Ten, right.

fun fact: she's who rogue stole her powers from(I know you'll know that, just stating it for others)

although she wasnt Captain Marvel at the time, and wasnt as OP

I got to say, when Tom Holland was lying down and was about to fade away he kinda looked like Toby Maguire for a second there. Maybe it was the hairstyle but that scene hit me with the deja vu.

... or maybe I already saw this movie in a different timeline where Spidey is still being played by Toby. Hmmm

I thought Garfield was perfect and ASM and ASM2 were both almost great, but Sony messed them up so bad they had to reboot.
The age is fine; Parker does get his powers in H.S., 15 yo actually, so new guy works. Sure we don't need the Uncle Ben story retold w/ every reboot, but "With great power comes great responsibility" is the most profound and iconic phrases in comic history ("snikt" being a close second imo). The humor still works and has gotten better each reboot.

Stormbreaker Thor, World War with max rage inspiried by having been bitched out by Thanos, Cap and kicking ass just because, hawkeye with vibranium arrows breaking physics 10 times over, and widow...widow...??? And I'm guessing Ironman is going to die in the next movie.

I thought the gauntlet was broken at the end of the movie. The dwarfs design only seemed good for a one off, although Thanos still has the gems I assume.
What if they went with the Smart Hulk route. Banner retains his mind when in Hulk mode.

Its a branch holding together one of the greatest weapons in the universe.
I believe that the branch became enhanced and sturdier when Stormbreaker was formed.

Fact: It was Groot's branch that allowed Stormbreaker to penetrate Thanos' energy beam and hit his chest.

When you watch it again, pay close attention to the CGI of Banner's head in the Hulkbuster. It will make Proxima look better in comparison.

I will say the CGI overall was damn good, so no major complaints there.
I really thought they hired an actor/stunt double for Proxima. If it was all CGI, then it fooled me. Great job on the FX.

She was already Ms. Marvel and incredibly powerful at the time Rogue stoler her powers.

Ebony Maw doesn't get enough love. I thought he was awesome. I liked how loyal he was to Thanos. He clearly admires and respects him. Even early on he knows Thanos is going to turn things around in the fight with Hulk. That's the kinda dude you want by your side.
