Didn't knew that. In that case then yeah he probably will live and die in Avengers 4

There are also speculations going around that Thanos will actually succeed in getting all the 6 infinity stones and win by the end of Infinity War. Then Avengers 4 will be about rebooting the whole MCU in some way which will lead into Phase 4 and beyond with new heroes taking over (Warlock , Capt Marvel , Spiderman etc)

Don't know how it will all unfold but one thing is sure is that i want to see Thanos at max power with a completed infinity gauntlet no matter how it happens haha.

not going to lie, i'm getting pretty damn hyped for this. this is coming from someone who didnt like the avengers 1&2.

Avengers 1 was alright. Not a masterpiece or anything but OK. 2 i was expecting much more out of Ultron who i thought looked quite weak compared to his comic counterpart

Infinity War should stomp both of them. I don't even see it as an Avengers movie , it's more like a MCU movie. Could very well have been titled Marvel : Infinity War instead of Avengers : Infinity War in the same way Civil war could have been title Avengers : Civil War instead of Captain America : Civil War because ultimately it was an internal conflict between the Avengers.

Just hope it's more serious than Ultron was.. the characters cracking wise the whole time ruined the whole film for me.

I wonder if that's a Falshback or a Plan hatched up by the Guardians to try to sneak up on him.

Ok...watching it a few hundred more times I have a HUGE issue with this trailer.

Thanos throws planets bro...PLANETS! He's one of the baddest villains in the comics!!! You mean to tell me that a "super soldier" can stop his punch and hold it there?!

Well unlike Brock Lesnar , Capt can actually take a punch.

He also beat and finished GSP in Winter Soldier. Don't forget that.

it’ll be interesting if they explore the internal dialogue that Thanos doesn’t feel worthy of the gauntlet and lets his guard down

don’t get that type of character introspection too often in comic book films

Brace yourself because he likely will. If not in Avengers 3 then in Avengers 4

Then if Disney acquire the rights to X-Men , Fantastic Four etc from Fox i could see Galactus be the next big villain for Phase 4/New Avengers and beyond with the Skrulls likely being thrown in the mix as well. Galactus is also in a serious need of a proper reboot. The F4 and the Silver Surfer version was an abomination. It was terrible lol.

Edit : Nevermind the acquisition bit. Disney did acquire the rights from Fox in december. So i fully expect Galactus to be next in line after Thanos.

There's no need to write an essay to defend the scene looking dumb. It just does. I never said the movie won't explain it away.

The trailer is what we have to go by. And it looks dumb.

I am pointing it is simply stupid to jump to conclusions based on a trailer when the history of trailers is misdirection.

You are the classic dupe falling for the same thing over and over again while saying 'its not my fault, it is all I had to see', while others know better and do not make the mistake.

But by all means, continue being a dupe and dumb.

Wouldn't mind seeing some of the world's armies help out the Avengers a bit. Air support and dropping bombs. The world is at risk.

I like Captain, but him getting killed would be awesome motivator or a sense of dread in these marvel movies.

Would do more harm to earth with all the radiation and fallout than anything . In the comics Thanos was swallowed by a black hole and came out of it unscathed like it was nothing.

A nuke is like a mosquito bite to him. Even more so if he has a completed infinity gauntlet. He would just brush it off and keep on going. He is that powerful

Jackson was being interviewed and, when asked if he would appear in Black Panther, replied,

"They ain't sending my black ass to Wakanda. I'm still wandering around Europe trying to find out what the Skull's been doing".

Jackson then shut up, as he realised he had possibly revealed that the Red Skull was back in the MCU.
