Wow they are going to have to squeeze alot into one film....the Avengers still have to get back together....

I'm wondering how Thanos gets mind stone embedded in Vision's head

The infinity gauntlet storyline is far too complex to be placed in one movie IMO. Once they decided to call it infinity war, that's that, you're covering that storyline. I don't mind the Part I and Part II. And for once, i'd like the movie to end with a villain win (if only in a cliffhanger), and Thanos wielding the gauntlet and winning over most of the Marvel universe would be excellent at the end of Part I.

I don't personally like the inclusion of the Squirrel girl, because i think it wouldn't work, but they made rocket racoon and Groot work so i'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

As I did with Thor & Dr Strange in the in the first two groups of my Avengers Infinity credit set-up I'll just put up my 5 Carol Danvers picks and what version I'd have each artist do.

Mike Deodato Jr, SHIELD gear (top center pick)

Sana Takeda, Karla's Dark Avengers gear (could switch this with Binary or Warbird since it isn't Carol, will put those versions in spoiler)

Shield gear all day that's my ideal Capt.

Never said Thor is as strong as someone as a Beyonder or a celestial, only that those villains are some of the very few that can put Thor in real danger. Warrior madness Thor is ungodly powerful, but even in that state he can't defeat cosmic threats like Galactus. But the level of villain shown in the MCU so far can do absolutely nothing to Thor.

And yeah Hulk can best Thor at times, but its a different story if Thor wasn't friendly w Banner. Hulks strongest there is ya know, but when Thor goes bezerker, he can at least hold his own if Hulk doesn't go all world breaker.

And @Dragonlordxxxxx, not sure if I've posted it or not but thanks a ton for the tag!

Oh Ok, I thought you were saying hes close to their power level. Thor is nearly invulnerable that is true, only a few can put his life in danger. The villains so far in the MCU have been dissapointing I agree, Ultron was basically a can.

That's so dumb. Thor should be able whoop Hulk. Especially with Mjolnir handy. But Marvel has made Hulk OP as fuck. Which, is kinda cool in some aspects, but really dumb in others. I wish they'd do one storyline where Hulk is on a rampage and Thor decides to really let him have it and totally embarrasses him.

I agree and imo Thor is stronger than the Hulk overall due to having more abilities. Hulks physical strength is potentially higher the longer the fight goes so Thor will usually lose that battle.

Unlike Hulk, Thor is bound by moral limitations. The only way Thor can kill the Hulk is to defeat him right away before Hulk reaches a state where he can be potentially stronger than Thor, Hulk has no upper limit on his strengh unlike Thor.

Hulk in a normal state is only around 1/3 as strong as Thor, and no hammer, flight, speed and energy projection. Thor is stronger but due to the nature and circumstances of the fight Hulk will usually get the upper hand eventually in a fight.

First battle scene he rips visions head off

Ultron would be the biggest super villian disappointment in recent memory if that Apocalypse/ Ivan Ooze character from X-men hadn't come on the scene.

Agreed. They flat out ruined Apocalypse in ever way, at least Ultron looked good even if he was so badly nerfed. Ultron has ruled the worldmore than once and he still has never been fully defeated. He jus recently came back in a new Avenger story where he pretended to be Pym. He had went around the multi verse destroying worlds and blaming it on the Avengers. Dude is a top shelf A list villain. I'd have no issue w Vision defeating him w Mind Stone if they bothered to explain jus how powerful the stone is on a cosmic scale.

The whole thing about "the longer the fight goes on, the stronger Hulk gets" is so dumb. (Not you, but Marvel). And to act like there's no limit is dumb too. I know that's how it's portrayed, but anger is finite. You can only get so angry.

But regardless of all that, Mjolnir SHOULD make up for any discrepancies. Yes, if it was Hulk vs Thor man to man with no weapons, it'd be close for a while but then Hulk would eventually outlast and overcome him. But with Mjolnir, regardless of how crazy Hulk gets, Thor should still be able to keep up with him and put him down.

Steve Rogers No Longer Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Captain America: Civil War didn’t end like its comic book namesake as Steve Rogers is still alive and kicking, but one thing they do have in common is that the titular hero no longer carries that name. Speaking with Huffington Post, co-director Joe Russo confirmed that in those final moments of the film, Steve Rogers has given up on being Captain America.

“I think him dropping that shield is him letting go of that identity, him admitting that certainly the identity of Captain America was in conflict with the very personal choice that he was making.”

In further Civil War news, EW has a revelation from Anthony Russo about what the third Captain America film almost featured when it wasn’t clear if Robert Downey Jr. would be available for the film.

“There was a period where we did discuss a third act that revolved around the Madbomb from Cap mythology,” he tells the outlet. “The charm of the Madbomb is that you turn hordes of people into berserkers. That was the physical challenge that Cap and company would have had to face.

“The notion of the Madbomb would have been Cap having to fight civilians and how he would he handle that,” Joe added. “We were always trying to put him into these interesting moral conundrums because of his nature. That would have made a compelling third act because if civilians are the antagonists, how could he stop them without killing them?”

Steve Rogers isn’t Captain America Anymore in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Plus How Captain America 3 Almost Ended

So, who are they going to make carry the Shield for the sake of the public? I know in the comics Bucky and Falcon both have but they both kind of seem out of the question for the movie version.

This is exciting the geek in me. I feel like all bets are off for Infinity War. By the time that movie ends, I don't think anyone will be sure of what's next.

Nobody should, imo. Until Infinity War when Rogers gets back in uniform. Ball is in Stark's court on this one.

Agreed. Maybe have a new Boy Scout running around in an Iron Patriot suit modified to use the shield.

That could work, I guess.

The idea of Falcon or Bucky with the shield in the MCU doesn't make sense because of where they're at currently. I guess Sam could because he's with Steve but it'll be interesting to see how they proceed.

Well Bucky is on ice, and Sam was Cap's coconspirator. So the only logical choice would be someone new.

John Walker - US Agent.
