Supposedly Infinty War 1&2 are not connected.

That's what's being tossed around the comic book websites.

"In an interview with Uproxx, directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed that Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Part 2 will eventually get new titles.

When asked where they planned on splitting the film, they said that they aren’t splitting it because both movies are “entirely different”.

Joe said: “The movies are two very different movies.”

Anthony said it was “misleading” to have them labeled as “Part 1” and “Part 2”.

Joe added: “The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.”

Whatever the films end up getting called, the first of the two movies arrives in 2018, with the second film coming in 2019."

Calling Infinity Gauntlet: The Thanos Quest & Infinity War. At least they are getting rid of the useless part 1 and part 2, now they just need to have Thanos getting rid of half the life in the universe for Hela and show the AoS crew, Netflix gang and Cloak & Dagger on screen for 10 seconds apiece before they are erased from existence along with a few members of the Avengers, Asgardians and Guardains.

I think Adam Warlock was the one that could go toe to toe with him. Still waiting for him to finally be introduced in the Marvel movies. Suprised such a major character especially in regards to the infinity stones still hasn't except in a few screen shots teasers.

Because you'll either get a convoluted, mis-matched shit-show trying to do too much with too many characters or you'll spend a ton of money casting people who are essentially cameos. After watching DC fall on its face with BvS, I think Marvel wants to avoid the first. The second? Unless it's a one-up-the-Avengers move, why not just focus on quality writing instead of some massive Marvel ensemble cast? Make the movie good rather than sensational - another something Marvel might lean towards after the recent DC train wreck.

i don't mean they all have to have dialogue and plot, just show up as cameo.

for example, while the Avengers try to beat Thanos, other smaller character is beating up Thanos's minions who invading the planet.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR to Shoot in November; Captain Marvel Confirmed to Appear

Speaking with Deadline, directors Anthony and Joe Russo spoke about their work on the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, saying shooting will begin before the end of the year.

“We already started them, a couple months ago,” Joe Russo says of the films. “We had to. We start shooting in November, two movies back to back. So we need two scripts ASAP, and we probably started working on them six months ago.”

“As soon as we got into post on this movie, we gave ourselves a few weeks to transition and then we spent half days with the writers, and half in the edit room, for months,” Anthony adds. “We’ll get the first draft of both scripts when this movie opens.”

In other Infinity War news, the brothers conducted a Q&A at the Smithsonian Institute (via Comic Book), where they listed off some of the characters set to appear in the film and mentioned none other than Captain Marvel by name.

When asked to clarify, one of the brothers reportedly joked: “Um….Captain Barvel. Totally different character.”

This is an interesting revelation since the Captain Marvel solo film is set to arrive March 8, 2019, between the two “Infinity War” movies. In addition, an actress for the character has yet to be officially announced.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will pen the scripts for the two features which directors Anthony and Joe Russo will film entirely in IMAX. Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is slated for release in theaters on May 4, 2018; Part 2 will open on May 3, 2019.

Nobody can defeat Thanos with Infinity Gauntlet except for Thanos himself so to speak.

I think you missed the part where Horse Style said "with Infinity Gauntlet." And even without the Gauntlet, I don't think Adam Warlock can go toe-to-toe with Thanos. Thanos is on a whole different power level. Sure, Warlock can defeat him by some sort of clever plan or scheme, but going toe-to-toe, nope.

Sharon Stone Reveals She Will Have a Small Part in Marvel Movie

Sharon Stone appeared on the The Late, Late Show with James Corden alongside Captain America: Civil War star Sebastian Stan Thursday, when host James Corden asked her if she'd ever consider working on one those movies.

"I am going to do a Marvel movie," Stone replied. "I'm just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can't tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I'm going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That's it."

Considering the dearth of information, it's not clear whether Stone is speaking about joining an upcoming project released by Marvel Studios or if her "wee part" will be in a movie centering on a Marvel character licensed by 20th Century Fox, which owns the rights to Marvel's X-Men and Deadpool characters.

Exactly my point. Us comic book readers know what I meant when I said Thanos w/ IG can only be defeated by Thanos himself, right. If somebody can take the Gauntlet away from Thanos' hand, like what Nebula did, the fault falls back to Thanos himself.
