Hubris and carelessness will be the Mad Titan's Downfall !!!!!
Exactly my point. Us comic book readers know what I meant when I said Thanos w/ IG can only be defeated by Thanos himself, right. If somebody can take the Gauntlet away from Thanos' hand, like what Nebula did, the fault falls back to Thanos himself.
I thought Living Tribunal was stronger than Thanos even with the Gauntlet
Correct. I should have added except for The Living Tribunal and The One Above All.I thought Living Tribunal was stronger than Thanos even with the Gauntlet
I've read Feige's comments about a potential Black Widow movie but I'll wait until there's something more official before starting a BW thread. Don't want to clutter the first page too much.Oh, and Feige basically confirmed a Black Widow solo movie, if you hadn't heard. I don't know if you already had thread in development or not.

Jon Favreau Returns to Marvel Studios as Executive Producer on INFINITY WAR 1 and 2
![]()
While Jon Favreau is no doubt celebrating the success of his latest directorial affair, The Jungle Book, which had a fantastic opening weekend, he's also looking to the future, and his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor, director, writer, producer is sitting in the last chair again for the Russo brothers' next two films, Avengers: Infinity War parts 1 and 2.
"I'm going to be executive producing the Avengers films with the Russo brothers, which I'm very excited about," Favreau told Digital Spy. "I talk to them about it all the time. I've worked both in front of and behind the camera with Marvel and I really love what they're doing now. It's a really exciting time to be over there. I've seen a rough cut of Civil War and it's fantastic."
Favreau will also be returning as producer and director for The Jungle Book 2 after the first film's success with both critics and audiences. No word on whether Happy Hogan will make an appearance in Infinity War.

Doubt the Russos will have time to direct anything else besides Infinity War 1 and 2.Gotcha. Would be awesome if the Russo brothers directed it.

My choice of director for a Black Widow movie would be Matthew Vaughn. This fits perfectly in his wheelhouse. One of the best action directors working today. Has not made a bad movie since Kick-Ass (or no bad movie at all if you consider Stardust a good movie). Would love for Vaughn to direct any MCU film.
They haven't really mentioned any clue what happens next after Infinity War 2. There's a few big event storylines they could adapt. But I hope they don't do Infinity War and Crusade because those were turrible. What do you guys think will be the big story after Infinity Wars? Get rights to Galactus? Has there been any rumours of where the direction will go?

Kevin Feige Says Marvel Has Mapped Out Their Films Thru 2028
![]()
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be Marvel's ninth movie in six years. They've all performed well, and some have done phenomenally. The Avengers sold $1.5 billion in tickets globally in 2012, making it the third-highest-grossing movie of all time. All told, Marvel has made consistent hits, which is supposedly impossible in a creative business. "It's almost like we have a built-in GPS system for the storytelling," Disney CEO Bob Iger says.
Or perhaps Iger has a built-in GPS for acquiring studios that can tell stories. Much of Marvel's success can be attributed to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. He has a special understanding of comics, fans, superheroes, and narrative. He concedes that Marvel won't recover the film rights to Spider-Man or the X-Men anytime soon but says Marvel has something more valuable: a universe of thousands of characters it controls entirely.
That means Feige can produce an unlimited number of films with interweaving story lines and characters, creating a vast audience for almost any Marvel movie. People might show up for The Avengers, meet the Black Widow, and come back for her movie, too. There's a map of films reaching far into the next decade on the wall of Feige's office. "It's like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, 'What's happening back there? I can sort of see it,'" he laughs. "They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028."

Once you defeat Thanos, where do you go from there? Thanos part 2? lol
What does @Thanos think about this?
Ultron was so wasted , very underwhelming and although The Russos have been magnificent I hope they pull Thanos and I think it will be important for Gunn to keep establishing Thanos further in GOTG 2
