As was mentioned in this thread there could be potential for the sequel to tie into Guardians 3 with that film focusing on getting Gamora back from the soul stone. I wouldn't be shocked to see that as I don't think Marvel will want too clean a break at the end of phase 3 for fear of viewers thinking it might be a good time to get off. It makes sense dramatically as well, I could see a climax(a 12 rated one anyway) of the Gamora/Peter romance and those characters either dropping out or dying and being replaced by someone with more unresolved drama.

Honestly, I think Ben will come back to life and fack Rick hard for sure.

Obviously he wont be able to do it alone, though. I don't thin cap can do much to help in that fight, but Robert probably can for sure.

Honestly, how I see it playing out is:

All the avengers coming back together, but the only ones playing a major part in defeating Rick are: Ben, Hulk, Thor, Chris Pratt, Rocket, Robert, and Don.

I think for sure Robert dies in that fight, I think Don goes out as well since they are buddies. I think the last Avengers left standing after Rick is KO'd are Ben, Hulk, Chris and Rocket.

Seems plausible but if I had to guess, I'd say Mark will have a significant part in Rick's downfall since he was havvy a hard time getty big cash money to come out and since Rick dominated him with ease after killy Tom. I am sure Nebula will also play a major role since she keeps getty fack hard by Rick. Honestly though, I hope Chris sacrifices himself though because I never really cared for his movies and I think Bucky fucky sucky. I hope Iron Man and Chris don't die though because I like them a a lot and I really hope Chris comes back. Ben and Tom should come back too and I think Ben could destroy Rick by himself

I can appreciate your logic, but why are you dismissing the idea that they can sign a new contract? That seems pretty plausible to me. Especially with all the money that's being made. Marvel is killing it with these heroes. Maybe they feel it's played out, but I don't see a big issue with re-signing them if they want to try & make more.

It’s logistically impossible story wise. Do you know the infinity gauntlet, war and crusade stories?

Half of the heroes are already gone and you want Marvel to hold off on finishing infinity war and go to the next infinity stones arc which basically requires all the heroes again. It’s not possible and would confuse the shit out of the viewers.. The stones are with thanos right now. How the fuck are they going to run another infinity stone arc with another villain?? So no it doesn’t work.

But anyways, I could see your scenario playing out. I really would like to see Dr Cumberbatch and Rick throw down. It would be cool of Ben just created a bunch of portals and like smacked rick around in one portal and then another and Rick just get mad as fire until he has no choice but to make a bargain to take off his Michael Jackson glove or stay and repeat getting Haymakers thrown at him through random portals.

Since they already have movie sequels lining up, we already expect Black Panther, Spider-Man and the GotG to come back. I'm totally fine with that because I want to see more of their adventures. What is more important than who is dead or alive is getting a good story and Infinity War told a freaking great story. Just enjoy the ride.

I heard spiderman had some gut wrenching words at the end of Infinity War. I feel like him coming back would kind of be odd after that. I'm sure he will, but its just going to make that ending scene mean nothing.

So you make a guess, (a guess I would sig and Av bet you are wrong about) and you are so sure about your guess you say it taints the movie for you because it makes it obvious. Ok.

My guess is Strange saw one very remote way to win which involved the ultimate sacrifice and gamble. He must risk letting Thanos win in this first exchange for the hero's lead by Tony to get a chance to win in the next and undue much of the damage done. I think in the end the hero's will win (d'uh) but it will come at significant cost with many of the hero's left dead in the end. Maybe some type of sacrifice particularly by Stark as he "dives on the grenade" to finally live up to Captain America's standards.

But all of mine is just a guess too and I wont say the movie is less to me because I assume my guess is correct and therefore Part 2 holds little exciting or new for me.

What's the next movie about then?

Thanos is retired & living on the land & done with his mission. he's no longer a threat. I suppose they could go "Avenge" him as Tony said they would do if they ever lost... but most likely the plot is about them reversing the events. Which are very easy to do when you have a time stone.

Stepping outside the parameters of the movie & into the real world for a moment... How does Spidey get another movie & many more planned when he just got vaporized?
