Add captain marvel to the mix, it should be enough to stop Thanos.

But after this shock factor and MCU throwing a suprise at us, I wont be suprised if the current gang arent enough to stop him

I think they're still gonna have a rough time of it because he does still have the stones. I think the gauntlet got fried because he used them all at once, and i'm guessing he can maybe still use them individually or whatever but not on the same scale at all. I mean, if it fries the gauntlet, then imagine what it would do to a body trying to bunch them all up bare handed. Even just the power stone NEEDS a strong conduit because it breaks shit down so fast.

Even though I consider comic book (especially marvel) movies to be suitable for children or the uneducated peasantry, I found this one particularly more enjoyable than the majority, and easily the best avengers film (I didn’t watch more than 15 minutes of the second for it was an offensive waste of cinema).

I would never have expected Thanos to have any shallow character development, and although not Oscar worthy, it was a welcoming surprise.

Bravo, I give this film 4 out of 7 küblicks.

Whedon is horrible. Ultron was so wasted in that film. Could have been an absolutely terrifying villain. I think he is more than Thanos in many ways but of course Whedon ego is too big to do anything different

Don't forget Vision. Shuri got enough data from the Mind Stone to bring Vision back to life. The question now is if it will retain the whole Vision persona or will this new one be more cold and robotic.

Yeah, I agree. If Ultron had actually been portrayed as Ultron, then he could have been an excellent villain. Even the cartoon Avengers show has had some really awesome Ultron episodes. I would have loved to see a big screen version of that, with the real Ultron. Unfortunately, they were more interested in being funny than telling an accurate or compelling story.

I was riding the Whedon hype train pretty hard after the first Avengers because I liked it so much, but Age of Ultron was the polar opposite of that. As much as I loved Avengers, I hated Age of Ultron. So I couldn't be more happy that he's gone from the MCU. Though, the after effects of Whedon are still felt to this day (with all the Whedon-esque shitty ass jokes, comedy, and one liners they force into each and every damn movie).

Some of the comedy in IW actually was quite funny. But a lot of the other stuff in the other films in phase 2 and 3 has been downright dreadful.

I think phase 3 has been improving. The only flaw was Ragnarok. I wanted a more serious film. The jokes about Asgard being destroyed were too much.
