Saw avengers last night again. Just appreciating what I saw this time instead of analyzing the film.

I noticed this time almost every fight scene has an over the top moment. From spider mans new armor to thanos throwing a moon. Theres so much WOW factor that how could this not be the best comic movie ever brought to life.

I could watch this film again and again and never get tired of it. After the 4th watch it still stands strong at 10/10

Oh and last jedi is not just the worst star wars film...its out right a shit film.

Must have been discussed already but just seen the movie yesterday. Do you guys think The Hulk would have beat Thanos if he didn't have the power stone?

Depends on what kind of plot armor they give the Hulk, but usually yes. Thanos is more than capable of beating the Hulk hand to hand.

Agreed.

Ep1 & Ep2 are not good movies, but are enjoyable to watch with good aspects that set up Ep3 (which is my 2nd favorite Star Wars movie).

Ep8 is so shitty, it retroactively made Ep7 shitty (previously thought it was okay), and killed any chance Ep9 of being any good.

It reminds me of Game of Thrones Season 7 killing any chance of the series being satisfatory ending within the final 6 episodes of the series.

Zero chance whatsoever for either Star Wars or GoT ending on a high note.

"If you think this has a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention."

They should show a shadowy figure thats about to get into a fight. Zoom in on his hands from the back and have the wolverine claws come out. End scene

I was one of the few that thought the post credit scene in the Avengers was gonna be something like this:

Camera slowly zooming down a hallway, with Patrick Stewarts voice explaining how bad of shape that the Earth and it's mightiest heroes are in. After the explanation, you just here a gravely voice say something like, "I am sure this big purple asshole hasn't ran into someone like me yet.". Camera zooms into the room where you see Patrick Stewart facing a guy who's back we see. Wolverines claws shoot out, he slowly turns around and delivers another Wolverine one liner, and you see that it's Hugh Jackman. Audience completely loses their shit, as XMen are on the scene to clean up for the Avengers in the next installation.

Oh yeah, and Jackman is in the ACTUAL wolverine costume, yellow and blue, and he puts his trademark mask on before he walks away.

It all depends who writes it but to have a galactic villain you need him to be beat by the whole team. Right now in the comics thanos is the prep time villain(batman) he can beat anyone given enough time to figure out how to beat them. WIth out prep time he should still be able to whoop the hulk

Part of the problem DC have though is that they run their franchise like comic geeks, remember when Thanos was first revealed and there was a ton of criticism that he wasn't "cool" or "badass" enough?

People were upset that he wasn't wearing his Armour. But choice to make him fight and move without it made him look like a powerhouse and you saw how amazing the CGI work for him was.

I remember a lot of talk about him "looking too human" as well.

Again I think the problem DC have is that they run there franchise like 14 year old comic nerds obsessed with "power levels" and everything being as "badass as possible" rather than actually looking to tell decent characterful stories.

It was good, but I wasn't super high on it. The story jumped around early on, and I felt like there was some inconsistency in heroes' powers in this film.

This is worth posting, and if you like long-form movie reviews you'll love this video.

Mauler recently became popular on youtube for destroying Black Panther, Star Wars Episode 7, and Episode 8.

For 'The Last Jedi' his three videos are a total of 5 hours. He had alot to say about every aspect of that movie, with very little praise.

But for Infinity War, this 53-minute video, he has 100% praise for it.

Really makes you wonder how damn good the new Star Wars movies would have been if Disney put people of equal competency in charge of Star Wars as they did Marvel.

The Black Panther review was a bit much. He trashed it by being nit picky. Black Panther probably isn't even in my top 10 MCU films but it wasn't bad.

It does I think demonstration Marvel's strength when it comes to characters and casting though, that really held it up for me despite having a few flaws.

Some story elements were nit picky but i never thought about the whole “what makes cha chala special enought to warrant being black panther”? Or why the fuck does wakanda have high tech with straws huts and spears? Feels kind of insulting to black culture that their heritage needs to retain straw huts and spears regardless of whatever advances in texh they aquire.

Like somehow straw hits and spears encapsulates all of black culture...lol

I dont see that only because its not badass as possible

Rey isn't compelling, she's too overpowered, has no flaws, no room for growth. It makes her boring.

I don't mind a strong female character, I like Brienne from GOT, but Rey is boring and not well written at all. Even her appearance is boring. JJ Abrams just ripped off episode 4.

The only character from the new Star Wars that has any real growth or character arc has been Kylo Ren and even then, he pretty much reverted back to where he started by the end of TLJ.

She never lost a single fight really ffs

They have cities. your being ignorantly weird nitpicky

I'm not being ignorant if that was actually the damn case. Or are you ignoring that while they have black balls that can do everything from being holograms or heal spinal bullet wounds...yet have people running around with spears? That's a bit strange. His review gives ya allot to think about.
