Haha you are retarded Keep following the movies and ignore the comics. Tell us more about MCU

I liked this post out of sheer pity.

You are asking about scenes in a movie then get pissy because you get answers that are from the movie.

Your brain doesn't work good.

Stupid, you asked how it worked. I"ve told you. A few other posters have told you as well. We are discussing the movie. You're asking about the movies.

I couldn't give a fuck about being an "average marvel guy". I clearly understand the movies better than you do. You're posts are bordering on full on retard.

There is nothing else to discuss. You asked a question, and it had been answered. It's simple, there are scenes in the movie and quotes in the movies that address your movie. You've been an indignant smartass for no reason, and you keep chirping like a doofus in the face of the very answers you were looking for because you didn't like them.

You can kick rocks now, dummy.
Whatever you say average marvel guy. Wait until phase 4 comes out so you can get up to speed on characters' bios

Like you I haven't seen anyone defend AVATAR anywhere close as zealously as it's been shat upon, which is another reason I don't get the fervor (or anti-fervor, I guess). Usually, such intensity is triggered by some kind of prompt or statement, but here the catalyst seems to be nothing but the number one rank .... which is not, I have to say, anything defined by the film itself.

Avatar is a better movie than Endgame IMO. It even has better effects despite being 10 years old.

Also, the money it pulled in is even more impressive. It's an original movie, not part of an existing property or franchise, or adapted from a known property.

When was the last movie like that to get blockbuster earnings? Let alone $1b. *

I hope Avatar keeps the top spot.

*i checked: Only 5 of the top 50: Avatar, Titanic, Frozen, Zootopia, Lion King

It's an original movie
It's Smurf Pocachontas in space.
I to this day thank Cameron for opening a new era of movies, but story-wise avatar is wack, James himself said so, all his focus was on next gen visuals.

It's Blue Ferngully

Yes, and Avatar retells it pretty damn close to the original. It is not bad, but to say that the story told in Avatar was groundbreaking (like the visuals were) would be dishonest.

I doubt he said wack but am willing to click a link if one were provided.

Do you divide story from visual narrative? The way and "how" a story is depicted? What's a good example of a groundbreaking story? It's not getting all the superheroes together. Was it when Marvel finally wrangled a decent villain? How about when they decided NOT to repeat the origin of the infinity stones?

It's always interesting to see what exactly grabs the audience, and moreover, what stays with us. I've seen the comparisons again and again, but in DANCES WITH WOLVES, FERNGULLY, and POCAHONTAS -- I never saw a dude riding a dragon soaring across flying mountains with cascading vines and waterfalls. Was there a giant puma and glowing insects in FERNGULLY? What was the battlemech situation in DANCES WITH WOLVES? It's not just the spectacle either -- the storytelling is rocksolid and eyecatching and there is never a point you don't know all you needed to know to lose yourself in the thrillride. ENDGAME is the culmination of 22 films and ten years, plus twenty years and countless issues on the comic book side. AVATAR acquitted itself in less than three hours.

Personally, I've never been able to get to the end of Avatar. I switched if off the first time because I was bored. The second time I almost fell asleep.
