AVENGERS: ENDGAME (Dragonlord's Review)

I dislike time travel shit as it can make literally everything that happened meaningless.
Also the Hulk never got his shot... Hulk completes his arc being an inconsequential forsaken character, when he should be a major force and brain. Im mad at that.

Other than that, it was enjoyable, albeit somewhat underwhelming after IW.
Maybe I really expected the best superhero movie, but this doesnt make my top 5.

Gave it a 7,5, will eventually rewatch.

I wonder why so many people think MCU Professor Hulk had any chance against Thanos? He is a tad weaker than regular Hulk and Banner is a nerd. He's not a trained fighter.

I don't understand how so many retards could watch Blue Ferngully so many times.

I saw it twice and bought the DVD that being said the reason why people went to see it so many times in the theaters was because Youtube and streaming media had not become so tied to people as it is today. It also was sold at the time as the most expensive movie in history and Cameron's greatest achievement. Computer visuals have never been pushed to these levels before and Avatar set the bar higher then anyone has ever seen before in film. They also generated dozens of patents on things like virtual sets, realtime during filming CGI you could actually see the actors as the Avatars when viewed through camera. Much like the Matrix broke tons of new filming concepts about 9 years before Cameron Digital Domain together with Weta Digital developed a many new concepts in digital film. Google may face lawsuits in the future because you could find sizable portion of scenes from Endgame on Youtube if you looked. Now streaming media is out there eventually box office is going to become less an less important as streaming media will dominate the future then you add games and VR in the mix there will be plenty of options to make billions.

I am pretty sure they are happy that they surpassed Star Wars and Titanic in box office totals and they will still make money overseas for another month. Even today Endgame used Cameron developed camera technology to film scenes for Endgame and extensive use of virtual sets. Virtual sets have been around longer then Cameron's use but he took it to levels no one ever seen on film. Cameron and Peter Jackson are making tons of money on letting people use their stuff.

EDIT: Fun fact the blue Avatar choice I heard was because James was so fanatical about making everything look real he was never happy about human skin color. Avatar became blue mostly due to filming constraints and technology at the time. I honestly think if the Avatars where like giant humans it would have never had the effect as it did at the time.

Hulk never, ever beats Thanos in the comics. I get wanting a rematch but he would've just got beat up again.

How good was 90's Star Trek from Kevin Feige the man himself about 90's Star Trek and how good the story telling was and Endgame concept of time travel was pulled from the last Star Trek Next Generation final episode "All Good Things". He was so impressed by Pickard's time loop concept and how he saw himself at different times he thought it was a perfect fit for Endgame in some version.

Take a look at how the show ends you can see the influences in many of the Avengers films.

I never said he had any chance as Professor. Maybe they could have let an extra gamma enhanced roided Hulk out after he received the glove's radiation.

Well I don't find her character likeable as of yet but lets be honest. The power levels are very inconsistent. Captain America has taken several Thanos blows and survived when any single blow should kill him. So she too should be able to take a blow.

I realize americans will cheer for captain america, but a human, even a peak human, shouldnt ever be able to take blows that put the Hulk out cold.
That motherfucker manhandles Hulk and Thor... ffs

I can't find the scans right now and I thought it was dumb as hell, but right after civil war (comics) there's a flashback scene of Cap knocking hulk out with a tekken combo. Made me so mad at the time lol.

Batman has no business doing anything to metahumans in h2h combat either tbh. I'd say combat wise they're equal or slight edge to Cap. But Cap doesn't have Bruce's detective skills or tech. Could say Hulk is a lesser version of Superman... especially when considering Action Comics #1 Superman... brings that little detail that Supes was created nearly half a century before The Hulk. Or Marvel comics altogether.

Haha. They also had bats beat Hulk and Spiderman 1x1.
Batman is just that awesome.

And The Hulk went toe to toe with Superman for a while... that was all before 2000 probably, as I eventually grew and stopped my comic subscription... or maybe my dad did.

So Hulk now is about as strong as... Hawkeye? But way less meaningful.
So Hulk snapped the glove... just like the regular human Tony Stark.
And the half god Starlord could barely hold it for a few seconds.

Honestly i don't understand why any of you like Wonder Woman.. I thought the movie was completely overrated.. It wasn't that good of a movie to me. I am not not even shitting on them being DC. I thought the movie was bland, the story was weak, and the action was boring as shit. There was nothing awesome about Wonder Woman. It was C- movie for me...
