My favorite character through these two final films was probably Scarlet Witch.

She only had a fraction of the screen time, but her scenes hit me HARD.

Everything and everyone in this scene is epic, Bettany and Evans especially, but Wanda is the heart.

My favorite moment, hands down, from Infinity War.

Not one of these films, but one of my favorite moments from any Avengers film.
"It felt like THAT."

Nobody lived up to the team name as much as her.

Other than the weird direction her accent went . I agree with the impact of her scenes in regards to hee actual screen time. She is also extremely powerful but not to they point where you want don't have to fear for her. A stronger and likable female character in comparison to CM

I'd be surprised at that tbh. She doesn't even need the hammer. And it seemed obvious they minimized her role from what they originally planned. After the star wars denacle I think disney is keeping an eye on how Woke As Fuck they get with this stuff.

Man I despise the word "Woke" when it comes to SJW crap.

You know, I've had a hell of a lot of comic book and general nerd friends, and nobody I know has ever bought any of these kinds of collectibles.

If I was rich, I'd be drowning in that stuff.

I question people that call themselves Spidey folk and have NOT seen the academy award winning Spiderverse yet.

1) The first Secret Wars arc is the best way to intro the new properties other than Avengers vs. X-men. Secret Wars would not need a 10 year set up to pull off like AvX would. First they fight each other, then they team up and fight the Beyonder. About the only Monkey Wrench in that story would be whether to include Galactus or not.

2) Scarlett Witch has shown glimpses of reality altering power when she mind fucked the others in AoU, but they mostly keep her telekinetic based. They had to keep her dumbed down, because she could have easily set off a House of M style event after Thanos killed Vision. “No more Thanos” Hell, she could have done it right after QS was killed in AoU.

3) House of M would be harder to set up. SW and QS were created with an Infinity Stone. Mutants don’t exist in the MCU, so there was no Magneto to give them the necessary genetic material to become supers.

Galactus has to be in the Galactus vs Celestials war.

Just got back from my second viewing. Just as good as the first viewing. Maybe better since the theater was virtually empty and no one was cheering and clapping at every goddamn thing. What makes a person do that? Fuck off with your clapping....

....anyways, I sat in the middle this time and was able to track the action more. I've decided that my favorite MCU moment is Cap with the hammer. Phenomenal reveal and fight.

And I am proud to admit I cried like a bitch during the portals scene. Seeing everyone appear and have Cap's back, the nostalgia rushed over me and the tears started flowing. Right after Cap straps the shield tighter....oh Madone.

I bought my wife a Loki figure, she's a huge Loki fan. It's awesome. If I had money, I'd fucking buy them all.

But why?

I guess I'm a minimalist at heart, I don't see the attraction of non-interactive items. Even when picking art objects I'm insanely picky and only have a few pieces.

I think these films actually hint why Marvel hadn't had a female led film for so long. I mean yes early on there was arguably some sexism before Feige got control but really for the past 5 years you've had characters like Scarlet Witch, Black Widow and Gamora involved in larger plots. Theres been no Ironman film since 2013 yet is that a sign Marvel hates that character? clearly not, they just didn't want Stark's plot disrupted.

I mean you see this with Captain Marvel don't you? I'm fairly sure that her inclusion in the MCU at this point was mandated from on high by DIsney as a response to Wonderwoman yet the character with a solo film is totally irrelevant in End Game in terms of drama compared to several other female ones.

Interesting to see what they might do with Wanda's character in the future, previously she was treated as more of a Jnr member dispite her powers yet I suspect you will see her "grow up" after this.

With SW she is a Glass Cannon extremely powerful but she can be blindsided speed and deception by a cunning enemy can exploit her so she can be a fun character to use. Strong but vulnerable.

I'm just big into memorabilia.

I never saw Captain Marvel, the commercials really turned me off. I'll catch it when it's available at home, but I wasn't spending theater money on it.

I love strong characters, male or female, it doesn't matter to me. Captain Marvel felt really forced. Scarlet Witch felt really awesome. The pain of her loss and the fury of her vengeance really resonated with me.
