Looking back, I think most of my moral values come from Peter Parker lol. Pete was sooo relatable for me growing up. Being that nerd that bullies target and girls ignore, even though you're just derping along trying to be a good dude. Probably the first time I saw a path for that type of person to become a successful adult.

I question people that call themselves Spidey folk and have NOT seen the academy award winning Spiderverse yet.

Hell yes that's just one way they could go. The end of this arc could also possibly set up house of m.

1) The first Secret Wars arc is the best way to intro the new properties other than Avengers vs. X-men. Secret Wars would not need a 10 year set up to pull off like AvX would. First they fight each other, then they team up and fight the Beyonder. About the only Monkey Wrench in that story would be whether to include Galactus or not.

2) Scarlett Witch has shown glimpses of reality altering power when she mind fucked the others in AoU, but they mostly keep her telekinetic based. They had to keep her dumbed down, because she could have easily set off a House of M style event after Thanos killed Vision. “No more Thanos” Hell, she could have done it right after QS was killed in AoU.

3) House of M would be harder to set up. SW and QS were created with an Infinity Stone. Mutants don’t exist in the MCU, so there was no Magneto to give them the necessary genetic material to become supers.

Thors always been my favorite. And this scene is hands down my favorite scene in any superhero movie ever



So going into End Game, I was thinking "fuck yea, time to see Thor FUCK some BITCHES the fuck UP!"

and well, it was slightly different than that lol. I was also really bummed to not see more of Dr. Strange. Overall still a really enjoyable movie though. IW just takes it for me.

I wonder if Thor was immune to Thanos' snap. Obviously he didn't get snapped, but could he be according to the cannon/lore? Or does being a god make him immune to something like that and only mortals are vulnerable.

Of course you could argue that really Infinity War was deliberately taking down the idea of Thor as the simplistic power fantasy hero. It sends him off on yet another revenge arc but highlights that losing pretty much everyone close to him has made him rather unbalanced and that revenge ultimately undoes his cause.

Its basically Empire Strikes Back with Thor as Luke.

Only thing good about spiderverse was comic accurate depiction of kingpin, respectively. Wasn't bad, but super overrated. Wasn't funny (although I personally liked Peter Porker), soundtrack wasn't great.. Animation was cool when they made it look like a comic, but it was just a little flick.

Although really I think you start to get a more accurate comparison from next week as that's when TFA was no longer in the Christmas holiday season which inflates weekdays and deflates weekends.

I'd be surprised at that tbh. She doesn't even need the hammer. And it seemed obvious they minimized her role from what they originally planned. After the star wars debacle I think disney is keeping an eye on how Woke As Fuck they get with this stuff.
