I'm not a spidey guy at all, but into the spiderverse was top shelf. No but there's a redbox right by my place. Been meaning to check it out since I've heard good things and I'm a Spidey guy.
You mean like Secret Wars?Imagine another IW scale conflict but this time they'll have the xmen, F4, and a bunch more minor characters.
Hell yes that's just one way they could go. The end of this arc could also possibly set up house of m.You mean like Secret Wars?
You're going to love it.I bet I'll like it. Haven't seen any new marvel or dc animation in awhile. They both put out some quality content imo.

I enjoyed the movie but I gotta say, am I the only one pissed they let Cap wield Thors hammer? It just doesnt make ANY sense to me.
I'm not HUGE into this universe but I do watch the vast majority of movies. From my understanding Cap is nothing more than a super human soldier science experiment. They gave him some serum or some shit to make him really strong.
That's all well and good, I'm sure it made him very strong and tough. But Thor is a literal god... his hammer is forged in a way that only a God is worthy of wielding it, is it not?
I'm not sure what it is. I was really into the X-men and Avengers, and all their individual books, but Spidey never grabbed me. Not sure why.
Not murdery enough?
In my wildest dreams as a kid, I never would have imagined we'd get movies that respect these characters so much. Guess that's why it irks me when people say stuff like "they expect me to take people in capes dying seriously"
Yes. You're supposed to suspend disbelief that these are real people in real scenarios. LOTR, the matrix, star wars etc have moral dilemmas, character progression, heroic sacrifices etc. Why is that appropriate there but not here?
Characters like cap and tony don't deserve an emotional sendoff after 12 years of movies?
ight ight fair enoughThors hammer is about being worthy. Pure, honorable etc. If you meet the criteria you can wield the hammer. It's just a REALLY select group of people that can do it.
Tbh a lot of the criticism I've seen sounds like snobbery. People that haven't followed these movies since 2007 and don't care about these characters at all. Just want to see explosions. Well, this is the worst marvel movie to watch for action set pieces. They're in there, but the movie isn't about that stuff and that's why I love it. Moments like Tony with his daughter or his reaction to Parker's return, Tony doing the snap, old man Steve. Grief stricken Hulk. I loved moments like that.My brother is too good for super hero movies but is all gooey over westerns. Westerns are also about mythological people who cannot exist in real life in the way that they appear in the movies.
Endgame was the best Marvel movie of all time IMO but you had to be there for the last ten years as they built up the characters to get it.
Felt like Thor and Hulk had to be depowered a little to make the end battle make sense. I don't think that was necessary, as I never got the feeling Thanos was going all out in IW. I get the logic though. Thor at least got some really cool scenes. Thor fans must be over the moon with how he's been treated in the MCU. Started out a corny afterthought but the characterization and his power set kept getting better with every movie. Short hair dudebro Thor is the best version of Thor in any medium ever. I've seen thor ragnarok like 6 or 7 times. Goddamn that movie is fun.ight ight fair enough
still feel like they made Thor too much of a pussy in end game tho
Looking back, I think most of my moral values come from Peter Parker lol. Pete was sooo relatable for me growing up. Being that nerd that bullies target and girls ignore, even though you're just derping along trying to be a good dude. Probably the first time I saw a path for that type of person to become a successful adult.I'm not sure what it is. I was really into the X-men and Avengers, and all their individual books, but Spidey never grabbed me. Not sure why.
Thors always been my favorite. And this scene is hands down my favorite scene in any superhero movie everFelt like Thor and Hulk had to be depowered a little to make the end battle make sense. He was worthy of wielding it and Thot knew the whole time!!I enjoyed the movie but I gotta say, am I the only one pissed they let Cap wield Thors hammer? It just doesnt make ANY sense to me.

Dudebro Thor with Lebowski Thor's Beard would be the best.Felt like Thor and Hulk had to be depowered a little to make the end battle make sense.
