I will look into this. Wolverine is my favourite. Hopefully MCU adopt the Xmen universe properly.
its the avengers vs. X-Men vs. Magneto and its amazing; Chris Bachalo art is god tier.

Good movie, but a clear step below Infinity War. The time travel stuff gets messy (I hate movie time travel in general), and personally I felt like Infinity War had too much of a complete story arc. It didn't leave off with a poignant cliffhanger, and made Endgame feel... odd, dramaturgically. The prime purpose of Endgame seemed to be to do a colossal fan service. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, mind you.

I've got about 50 questions regarding continuity and whatnot re the time travelling, but I don't feel like it's worth trying to sort it out.

Funny how every second of Endgame is still more interesting than any DC movie...

How many COMMUNITY cast members were in this one? Two? Three?

One of the first scenes is a guy (one of the Russos) talking about going on a date with another guy even though he could be talking about A MILLION different scenarios that has affected him after the snap happened. They HAD TO drive home that he was gay to tick off the "gay box".
You are somewhat correct.

Speaking to Deadline, Russo said, “It was important to us as we did four of these films, we wanted a gay character somewhere in them.” He continued, “We felt it was important that one of us play him, to ensure the integrity and show it is so important to the filmmakers that one of us is representing that.”

“It is a perfect time, because one of the things that is compelling about the Marvel Universe moving forward is its focus on diversity.”

This article also goes onto confirm that not only are they gearing up a gay Hercules, they're looking for a gay actor to play him.

Final battle was indisputably the most epic (the actual definition of the word) cinematic scene in film history and its not even close.
It was absolutely incredible.
All these long years of waiting, and it delivered beyond my wildest expectations.

_We. Got. To. See. Captain. America. Fight. Thanos. With. Mjolnir._

I work 2nd's and went this morning before work. Impressive it was sold out for a 9:35 am showing not during summer vacation.
I really enjoyed the movie. I'd give it an 8 I think.

Quick thoughts/musings:
1.Nice that Cap Marvel and Hawkeye have the same hairdresser.
2. Professor Hulk really came off like an entitled whining bitch.
3. A TON of marks in the theatre. I would say no less than 10 all out applause breaks during the movie.
4. Old Cap is Joe Biden?

Also to the unsung hero of the Marvel Cinematic Universe...without you sir we would not be here.

Which highlights the problem I have with what they are doing. I don't mind if it makes sense story wise, but Hercules is not and have never been gay. There are existing gay characters, but instead of using those they turn a character gay so that they can show off a token simply to show they are "diverse and inclusive". They also make it a point that being gay is different, not normal, when driving home the point this hard. If they want to normalize homosexuality and support it then they would make a movie which has a gay character (preferably one that actually is gay originally) and then DONT MAKE IT A POINT.

If what they wanted to was to actually support it, they'd just do it and not make a fuss. Instead what they want is to get credit for it aka score woke points.

Also, FANS have not held The Russos nor Kevin Feige back from making a more diverse universe to begin with. THEY chose to make it the way they did. The only reason they are doing it now is to A: cash in on the current political climate/fad and B: to not get labeled racist, sexist and whatever ist you have for not doing it.

Edit: Gonna catch flack for this I know but lastly, if ONLY gay people are allowed to play gay characters, are they then going to limit all hetero characters to only be played by hetero people? The womanizer Barney Stinson in "How I met your mother" is played by a gay actor (Neil Patrick Harris) and is fantastic so I dont really see why this should be a prerequisite. After all its called ACTING and not BEING.

DO YOU THINK THE CHILDREN WILL BE IN DANGERR????

The stones power were kind of limited to "snap" in this movie. They had way too much to focus on to get deep in that aspect, but it was a little weak.
You know what got really gay about the glove?

That's like how Magneto only shoots magnetism from his hands. STOP WITH THE SASS!!!

I get it but you're veering closely into the the music's too damn loud/old man yells at cloud territory. You're okay with being that guy? Because this is the moment when you crossover.

No one's saying that gay people must be portrayed by gay people -- it's a matter of under-/mis-representation of gays in show business. Barney Stinson was proof that a gay actor is viable and won't destroy the show, not that double-standards must continue. When you infer a double-standard, it might be prudent to look into yourself as to why you think of it that way, how you assimilate the concept of norms and mores. No one can make you believe anything. The question is how you've come to the point where you have you accepted this as the reality. It's okay not to like it, but that's not anyone else's problem but yours.

You’re not wrong. One of my biggest gripes about the MCU is the shoehorning in of captain marvel instead of Adam warlock like how it should’ve been. Part of the reason I can’t give this movie a higher score.

Actually thats EXACTLY what they are saying: " it was reported that Marvel was looking to cast an openly gay actor for The Eternals and this info suggests that the character will also be of the same sexuality."
https://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/hercules-rumored-male-lead-eternals/

Also, how is it not a double standard if A gets to play A + B, but B only gets to play B? You say a lot without really saying anything like most SJW types :) Double standards are the only standards you guys have though so I guess thats why.

Sorry, people, but I dont get these high scores. There are too many things wrong with this movie for me to type on mobile.

Inferior to infinity war imo. Not even my top 5 superhero movie. I really hate that they went the whole time travel route. Should have done without it, but they wanted the fanservice of going through older movies.

7/10

Oh, life's so unfair my movies don't cater to my way of life.

What kind of person thinks one example makes a rule? I have some categories.

Hollywood has been trying to shove their political bullshit down our throats.

Gay people, women are powerful spiel got a few too many sighs in the audience. No one gives a shit anymore.

DW, people are just coming off the highs of the great moments in the movie, but the film as a whole was executed pretty meh. Its a 7/10 movie, terrible pacing.

I will also say, in a fully packed theater, everyone cheered when thanos pimp slapped captain marvel. She really is disliked by a lot of people, including females. Def some cheers forsure though.

Edit: phone posting is shit

I simply want roles to be based on merit, not identity politics and if people want to normalize homosexuality how about not treating it as if being homosexual is almost like being an alien when comparing to being heterosexual? I believe what makes a character (or person) is the content of their character, not who they rub their genitals against.

"Awards season this year would look very different under such restrictions. No Olivia Colman, Rachel Weisz or Emma Stone, all of whom play bisexual characters in The Favourite. Nor would Weisz and Rachel McAdams have been permitted to star as lovers in Disobedience. It’s goodbye to Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody, and farewell to both Melissa McCarthy and Richard E Grant in Can You Ever Forgive Me? Ben Whishaw would still be allowed to play Norman Scott in A Very English Scandal, for which he, too, won a Golden Globe, but his co-star Hugh Grant would need to be replaced as the MP Jeremy Thorpe, Scott’s lover who tried to have him killed."

There is simply no reason to have this double standard.

I cheered, my gf didn't. lol

Yeah, women were supposed to be the main audience for this movie and it failed spectacularly to do that

You're making up this double standard, and it's a terrible look. One show creating a gay character to be played by a gay actor does not establish a rule that all characters must be portrayed by the same sexual oriented actors. That's denser than a bowl of oatmeal, you fucking bowl of oatmeal.

She actually got a lot of cheers in mine and coming from someone who didn't watch her solo film, I thought she was pretty badass.

Her, Scarlet Witch (finally), and Thor showed why they're the Avengers heavy hitters.

Hulk and Strange are also part of that tier but unfortunately didnt get to show it due to the sheer cast size of this film.
