I think they fucked up everything that made Thanos special in Infinity War. He wasn't just evil and seeing baby Gamora in the Mind Stone after the snap proved that.

The 2014 Thanos we got was kinda generic and not as interesting.. His CGI looked a bit off too in this one.

Poll should be Fat Mac vs Fat Thor.

I loved fat Thor, made me laugh every fucking time.

Damn, not once from me. Not even a smirk.

His best parts were when he was acting like Thor. Calling both stormbreaker and mjnoir while his eyes were glowing, saying "i knew it" when cap called the hammer, etc.

I thought he and prof hulk would fight at his place when hulk said, "please let go of me."
But no.

Seems very uncharacteristic for Cap to knowingly come back old now that "Earth's best defender" is dead, and that there's always going to be other conflicts..

Greedy and not like the Steve Rogers we know..

Mr fall on a grenade decides to finally get laid. Selfish, but he's done enough. Seriously though, did he have to tell Peggy about wanting to bang her niece?

Fat Thor was funny for a bit until he was fighting later on and still fat.. It looked ridiculous. His mother should have used a spell to make him appear normal.

But, there are now 2 Steve Rogers.

One will lay low and start a family with Peggy out of the limelight.
One to be the hero the world knows.

"I assure you brother, the sun will shine on us again."

Well that never happened and now Loki's Infinity War death is even MORE underwhelming and dumb.

I feel that way. Too he feels extremely cold and callous in this one

I will offer up that . 2014 Thanos doesn't have to make the sacrifice yet , shit he doesn't even have any stone in his possession so he isn't weary. He sees Nebula's memories and he sees the Avengers plotting to thwart him now he has a singular focus on his next Target. 2019 Thanos completes his "Heroes" Journey when Thor kills him 2014 Thanos is now pissed that the Avengers are trying to undue that.

i liked it alot that in the time travel heist section of the movie most characters tried to visit with their loved ones, because that is just what i would do, and most everyone would do the same, i liked that, also liked that the cap stole more of that Pym shrink magic juice, that was thinking on your feet, well giving praise to the captain's brain the part where he pretended to be a hydra agent to steal the gem it was perfect

But that Cap is going to do the exact same thing as our Cap. So right now, there's no Cap to lead and fight all because he was greedy lol.

At least that's what I got out of it. He deserves this but that still doesn't make it right... Why would he choose to take him out of today's problems?

Man Avengers 1 aged so horribly.
Most of the MCU has, to be honest. Had to show my friend who’s never watched any of them which ones were good and I had a hard time picking more than 3 movies. Most of them are 7/10 average movies.

there are bad ones, Iron Man 2, Thor dark world with dark elves and shit, captain marvel is shittiest ones, there are some of the ok ones like black panther and iron man 3, and the other ones are good, and some great, so they definetly dont knock it out of the park every time, but even the shittiest of them are still a quality product and all of them tie in together and that makes them just a little bit better

IW, gotg, Spider-Man, endgame, Thor 3, WS. Everything else is meh.

I think for the purpose of more earthly threats he can hold his own with his tech I think the "Avengers" moniker should be retired but I could see him working along side SW, Banner and Bucky . He wouldn't need to be Steve Rogers how the hell could he but he could at least be the point man to a lesser team of remnants.

I suspect at the very least Marvel will have a cooling off period rather than instantly looking to reform the Avengers, maybe show the various groups coming together over a few years?

I wouldn't actually be surprised if the Black Widow film isn't just about fleshing out her character but also introducing some kind of "earthly" new threat akin to say Hydra, something she and maybe Hawk fight against in the past which can then also feature in more Winter Solider like films in the present involving characters like Hawk, Fury, Falcon/Cap and maybe also Hulk/SW if they want a bit more power.

Current Cap should have easily been able to fuck up past Cap. He's had way more time to train and wayyyy more experience than past Cap, who honestly didn't have much time to get any.

Not a plot hole since she didnt know Thanos had to throw green lady to get the soul stone, all she knew was that she Thanos returned with the souls stone and without green lady.

She may have assumed he killed her after she told him where the soul stone was.

Touché

I dont think it was right that Hulk and Stark could just do the snap. Or Cap using the Mind Stone on past Cap. This stuff should only be done by magic users and ones who know how to use these objects.

I've been going over this movie in my head the last day, something doesn't quite feel right... And I think I have narrowed it down to Thanos. What made him so special in IW is the opposite in Endgame.

We have two Thanos' the one who completed his journey, made the sacrifice and went to the edges of the universe to fulfill his destiny in IW and then we have this new one who hasn't even started his quest yet and is very much a ruthless ruler who treats those close to him like shit, alas a Hitler of sorts.

And that is the issue, they kill the Thanos we came to love in the first fifteen minutes and we are left with this hollow Thanos you just don't give a shit about, honestly the way he treats Nebula even after learning she is loyal to him made me want him to get his head taken off and I didn't feel like that in IW.

By the end of the movie he had literally become a generic bad guy, "I'm gonna destroy the universe" blah blah I couldn't wait to see the prick die tbh, maybe that makes him a good villain? You decide

For me, I would have preferred to keep the original struggling Thanos but he can still fight and make it a redemption movie but his desperation to survive.
