Now I finally know what "Endgame" is, was reading the word for weeks and thought it was another TV series or something. Didnt expect another Marvel bullshit movie, they produce like 4 a year lol didn't make it through a single one of them I'm kinda surprised grown men are attracted by this stuff

Thanks for stopping by

And somehow that makes you feel special.

It’s possible but we shouldn’t be diving for quotes just to look for answer. There could had been a line or two explaining it in the story. All well good movie nevertheless.

My other beef is the unnecessary sacrifice of Black Widow. I know the future Avengers wanted to bring everyone back, but if they did succeed in just obtaining every stones except the soul, then past Thanos would not have acquire the means to kill the entire universe. Then by all accounts the future would have been altered and half of the universe would not have been killed.
No, they do not have butterfly effect, dude. How many times must it be said? Changing the past does not change the future, it creates alternate timeline.

I'm actually glad they saved the hammer scene for this movie. It was perfect the crowd at my theater went fucking nuts.
Id rather hear thr crowd gasp at that scene than to hear the soundtrack. It's cheesy.

god i hope your wrong but i think your right....

Black Panther has the charisma of a wet fart

i really hope they dont try and have him take Tony or Steves roles going forward

Sam would so a much better job but he isnt the same caliber of hero BP is in the MCU
as far as a charismatic leader Captain Marvel and Black Panther IMO are the absolute bottom of the barrel of what the MCU has had to offer so far
Dont count out BP just yet. Boseman is a capable actor, and there are some interesting stories that they can tell with him and the Avengers
In the comics, he only joins in the beginning to spy on them. He's Wakanda first. He's a bit of an asshole in a similar way to Batman.
He may not be interesting by himself, but neither was Captain America until we saw him in a few movies and surrounded him with various characters.

I think Marvel has shown that the character interaction are what can make a movie great. Mix in the right people and sky's the limit.
I never thought I'd say I was a Nebula fan before End Game

I think Endame is not going to beat TFA in the domestic market, TFA has already cut 60m from the original 100m advantage endgame had comparing their respective opening weekends.

Now only 40m ahead. It's not beating TFA domestic gross.

I imagine Falcon will be used similar to Hawkeye going forward. Just because he has Cap's shield doesnt mean he is the new Captain America.
Yep that's my expectation as well, he'll become a more individual character rather than a foil for Cap he was previously but he likely will not take on the same significance in the story. If we get another Cap film it will likely be heavily team focused.

I think moreso than characters or actors an issue Marvel might have in the future is that they've been releasing some quite bland "empowerment" films in Black Panther and Captain Marvel that have failed to add much dramatic tension to the characters involved. I mean Black Panther in Civil War was quite interesting being slow to forgive and vengeful but became much less so in his own film.

Get over yourself. How terrible is it for people to entertain themselves in a completely safe, fun and reasonable cheap way watching movies that remind them of their youth and make them laugh, cheer or cry? For shame that we aren't all as stoic as you.

Black Panther was critically acclaimed both by critics and the fans, is one of the highest grossing Marvel movies and got great reviews on sherdog as well. I don't know why a select few posters are trying to spin a different narrative. It was a massive success on all fronts.

Eh..I disagree with that characterization.
I didn't see BP as an "empowerment" film.
I thought the story was interesting and was curious to see where they took it in the future. As a hero, and a leader of a nation, BP is a unique character, and his Wakandan heritage is a large part of his character. It isn't just some sort of 'black power' play.

The BP movie was introducing a whole world and culture. It wasn't just focused on TChalla. I imagine we'll get deeper into his character now that we know he is king. And if they really were teasing Namor in End Game thatttttt could lead to some interesting stuff between those two., especially in examining a king's rule

And most origins stories come out being pretty mediocre anyways. Captain Marvel was about as meh as I expected it would be, but it wasn't hardcore pushing an agenda.
Captain Marvel just suffered from a shitty script that didnt go much anywhere, and she's overpowered
