AVENGERS: ENDGAME (Dragonlord's Review)

If you have seen AVENGERS: ENDGAME, how would you rate it?

Maybe I missed it but what happened to 2014 Gamora? Why wasn't she on the spaceship at the end with the rest?

With Thor it feels like they were setting up Thor in Ragnarok was to retire as King but then Chris Hemsworth was like "No, I want to play more Thor!" so they needed a way to make his character become unformed/immature again and go through another growth cycle.

When Quill is on the ship the screen with Gamora on it says Searching so I'm not sure if they're going to keep 2014 Gamora. They can probably rebuild Vision if they want the character to come back.



It would be funny if the end scene of the Black Widow prequel movie is Cap going to Vormir and talking to Red Skull and that's the moment Cap decides he's going to live with Peggy. Then Skull mentions a "soul for a soul" thinking Cap wants to get the infinity stone, but Cap opens his hand and it's the soul stone. Cue "Black Widow will return."

One thing I dont get, how is spiderman still in highschool if 5 years went by? Kind of a big plothole which Im assuming is why they said far from home finishes off phase 3 cause it will be before IW.

He is the same age he was when he was dusted in IW, so he and presumably his fat fedora wearing amigo still have some schooling to do.

The final battle could have used 20 more minutes. Everything was moving really fast. What showdowns would you have wanted to see with the Black Order?

The time travel plot is going to leave lots of plot holes going forward which I expect will just be brushed over and ignored. Strange no longer having access to the Time Stone should in theory be a huge problem but maybe he's powerful enough.

Cap returned all the stones back to where they got them in the past, right? So time stone goes back to Tilda who'll eventually pass it to Strange. Right?

other thoughts.
Black Widow had to be the sacrifice because Barton has a TV series coming up and had to survive. Also, Banner turned into a weird hybrid Hulk/Banner. That romance is out the window.

Someone else wrote that it seemed like Captain Marvel screentime was edited down. I agree. She took large chunks of the movie off. The Girl Power moment was very forced. Could have been more elegantly done.

I don't understand why the Iron Man finger snap didn't fix more things: Bring back Black Widow, Vision, restore Asgard, etc. And why wasn't Gamora in the final scenes? Did she die again, and I missed it? I guess GotG3 may deal with all this.

The Thor stuff was the funniest. But he didn't seem torn up enough about Asgard's destruction. He's just like, this sucks gimme beer.

I also wanted to see Danvers' pilot friend and her daughter.

Hulk already tried to bring Black Widow back with everyone else and it didn't work.

Since Gamora fought alongside the good guys, she presumably survived. But it’s unclear where she is at the end of the film. Star-Lord tries to look for her on his ship’s navigation system, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will probably follow his quest to find her."

as someone who hates sjws, i had no problem with the movie and that scene. only problem is captain marvels power levels. thats it.

Even then, I didn't feel she was OP. I thought she put up a force field when Thanos tried to headbutt her. I loved how intelligent Thanos was and how much of a fight he put up. I also thought CM with short hair looked pretty good.
 
Also, did anybody notice if Cap brought Mjolnir back?

I didnt think she was overpowered. But she should be thors equal IMO or similiar to adam warlock. Still wasn't that much of a bother for me to be honest, and I strongly dislike Brie Larson in general. Shes definitely hot forsure.

I got in last night at midnight after going to the cinema to watch it, and didn't go to sleep until about 4 in the morning because I was thinking about this stuff haha
