Tony's a 50 year old that's 5'9. He shouldn't even be a superhero. And Potts did kick Killian's ass so fighting isn't completely foreign to her.
Yes, but it's not really about his age, height, or gender, there should at the very least be a skill to using the armor.
No one should be able to just pop into the suit and do whatever one of the GOAT Avengers can do.
Potts was also on the juice, and was banned from competing by USADA.

Tony was intentionally building her the suit, so he probably taught her how to use iron man armor in the 5 year time span.

So many homages paid to the comic books in this.

Cap with the hammer

Hulk holding up the building

Pepper was wearing Superior Iron Mans armor, at least it looked that way

Sam Wilson as the next Captain America

Asgardians of the Galaxy and Asgard on earth

I’m sure I’m forgetting some as well

Nebula was also standout character in this movie
Nebula's scenes were very touching. When she told Gomorrha that in the future, she tried to kill her repeatedly, but then they became sisters.
<mma1>
And also the part where she tells her past self that she can still change or what not, and the old Nebula says tearfully "He won't let me". It breaks my heart and just shows how evil Thanos is.

Damn it man. Just saw the movie. Definitely best fight scenes out of all marvel movies. Sucks that major characters are done. It was fitting for Tony to finish Thanos. I thought Cap was going to give the shield to Bucky, but I think they wanted to mix it up. Still very meh IMO. I thought movie dragged little bit but well put together and great ending. And grab some napkins, you might need it at the end.

Agree, she turned out to be one of the best characters.

Plus I would sleep with her if I was in space lol

She has so many good scenes. When she takes care of Tony in the ship. Her rapport with Rhodey. When she closes IW Thanos' eyes on his decapitated head.

Yea, Nebula was a standout for me here.
Really enjoyed everything with her. That scene with her and Gamora was great and brought the feels.

I only rate it that low because my expectations were that high. And I felt justified in that expectation because Infinity Wars was that good to me.
I made a thread in Gayberry just a day before Endgame reminding people to lower their expectations, because i realized it would be really hard to top Infinity War. IW was a masterpiece with a lot of cool scenes spread out throughout the whole movie. Unlike in Endgame where the hair raising moments were heavily focused at the end. I agree though that there are changes that could be done to make it better still.

Yeah that scene in the ship, where she operates on Tony's wound. The part where she gives the food to Stark. Her character development is awesome, It's fun seeing her all in with the good guys.

Movie gets a 9.5/10 from this guy. I know I may be in the minority but I think EG was far superior to IW and felt it was the perfect bookend to a decade of stories.

For those who are complaining the plot holes that the time travel made, I disagree for the most part as most of it can be explained. For Captain America, in the original timeline he went into hibernation in the 40's so I can only assume that he returned the last stone in 1970 and just stayed there. He would not have to worry about running into his other self for decades and at that point him and Peggy would be far away while original Steve Rodgers did what we saw after the first CA film. As for Spider-Man, anyone who was snapped stopped aging so he is still the same age as he was 5 years prior so it makes sense for him to go back to school and his buddy got snapped too so makes sense why he is there as well. Remember they were never really dead, only trapped inside of the soul stone. Spider-Man even said that he thought he fell asleep and woke up to Doctor Strange saying to get ready or whatever. They would not have been having that conversation if they actually died. Which of course brings up..

Thanos and Black Widow. Thanos and his army are now snapped inside of the soul stone which leaves things open for him to perhaps comeback down the line. It is also possible that with returning the soul stone at the same time it was taken in the first place, the death of Black Widow should be able to be undone. The Black Widow origin movie is the first phase 4 movie and I would guess that the end will have a cameo from Captain America as he returns the stone and brings her back. Plus how shit would it be if we never got to see Cap and Red Skull reunite if only for a minute so that Rodgers knew Red Skulls ultimate fate.

Fat Thor was great but I probably would have liked him to have a Rocky 4 montage offscreen and come back as TRT Thor and wreck shop. Him joining the GotG crew is a great move and will make the next GotG movie even better (my guess is we won't see the new one until 2022 which would be plenty of time for Hemsworth to film).

I also did not mind Professor Hulk and I was not too bothered he did not fight Thanos again but I do hope they let him bang bro in future movies some.

I also loved the clever way they brought Loki back to life.

I wish I had gotten a bit more of Thanos and Nebula one on one time to see what it was exactly he thought of her.

IW showed us that Thanos actually does love Gamorra. (In his way) Even though she betrayed him and left, she was still his favorite.

Nebula does all she can to please him and he still treated her like dirt at every turn.

It's in the first scene with his kid and she has the helmet.

I thought it was touching that he sort of apologizes to her before Thor ruins everything. IW Thanos was the best.

And the kid at the end. I wonder if they'll go in that direction of new "Iron Man" since it looks like they kept in touch.

I remember him saying he made the suit for her. I just think it's a pretty weak defense or explanation.
Being in the suit, operating it, flying it, and fighting in it shouldn't be something anyone can just pick up.
"He probably taught her" just doesn't do it for me. I thought it was just an unnecessary way to shoehorn her in.
She's not a hero, and that's fine. Didn't see the need to jam her in.

The scenes with Gamora and Thanos in IW were one of my favorites. Surprised how bizarrely touching it was.
Thanos is a deep dude

With all of us Marvel fanboys on here, how do we have Kpop, Soccer, NFL, Basketball and Wrestling emoticons, and not a Marvel or hero section??????

This isn’t supposed to be Infinity War part 2, we already had that movie and they weren’t going to make it twice. Sorry people wanted that but we already had it.

This is a more character driven story and what was needed to close out the decade. They didn’t disappoint in the 3rd act though. Much like return of the king (Lord of the rings) the end battle delivered. Though i would’ve liked to see the hulk go crazy.

The time travel scenes were what moved the characters along and highlighted the best of the movies that came before. Got to see actual human moments, not just people hitting ice giants.

When Star Lord was singing “Come and Get Your Love,” from Guardians 1 the fans went crazy. The reason they went crazy is becasue marvel made a movie with characters the fans instantly loved and they remember the feeling when they first sat in the theater to experience that moment. Great stuff.

The same with the attack on NYC, another scene the theater went nuts for. Everyone remember seeing that for the first time and how incredible it was. More great stuff.

Tony and his dad, Tasha and Clint, Nebulas story, and of course Steve. The Homage to Strange was also great

The tone of the movie was perfect coming off the balls to the wall, full throttle non stop Infinity War. Personally I’m glad the first 2 acts were slowed down. It’s what was needed after IW.

And for time travel, well no piece of fiction has ever nailed that down 100%, not books, not sci fi novels, not comics, and not movies, Not Terminator, not Back to the Future, not Interstellar.. none of them. Doesn’t matter, when the story is good around it, no one cares.

I think asking "would Tony give her a suit if he didn't think she could handle it?" is an appropriate question. And if he didn't think she could handle it he wouldn't give it to her. I do agree that it's crammed in there but they probably wanted to give her a reason to be there when Tony died. Though Doctor Strange totally could have saved him. He is a time bending actual Dr. after all.

Edit: Another scene that I wanted to happen that I thought of just now:
Tony snapped and he's all dead looking. Peter starts to panic and calls for a doctor. Strange shows up, takes the time stone and starts doing reverse-o magic on Tony. It actually looks like Strange is having a hard time doing this. Everyone has worried faces. Cut to the scene of BARF Tony talking. It ends and Tony is alive and says some funny stuff. But he's missing his arm since Strange didn't want to mess with it or it might have reversed the snap. Everybody is at Tony's house and it's a big party. We get all the interactions between the different characters having a fun time.
