Kai Asakura, Patchy Mix and Pico were either champs from other orgs and/or heavily hyped signings but laid eggs in the UFC. Who looked the worst so far? Who has a better future in the UFC? I'm leaving Pitbull out of this since he's past prime and no one really had big expectations for him at this stage of his career, plus he did get a ranked win in his second UFC appearance.

I had high hopes for Mix and Pico, but they both had horrible UFC debuts, but I'm not ready to give up on them just yet, they're still young and can bounce back, but Pico's chin and poor defense will always be a problem. He'd get KO'd by a gust of wind while walking out of the tunnel if it even grazed his chin. Mix might have just had an off night, or a bad weight cut or something. I still think they can do something good eventually.

Kai Asakura is 0-2 now and just lost to a 38-year-old journeyman that was supposed to be a layup. Granted, Kape started his UFC career 0-2 but those were close decisions. Kai got finished twice, first by the champ, then by a guy with 13 losses coming off an almost 2-year layoff. Kind of a waste giving this guy a title fight for starters.

Who should these guys be matched up with? I can't see them being fed absolute bums at this point.

UFC might as well do Pico vs Pitbull next, instead of that French guy.

Patchy Mix has looked the worst. Kai and Aaron at least had moments in their fights. Patchy showing up to just look at Bautista was a weird performance.

Yeah true, but I also think he might have a better turnaround. I think he has more of a future in the UFC, he just laid a massive egg in his debut. Didn't get finished, just didn't look like himself at all. We'll see how it goes next time he fights.

Calling Elliott a can is a bit much. Yeah, the guy is 21-13 but go back and look at WHO he lost to and he's also won four of his last five. Yeah, they absolutely expected Asakura to win, but Tim Elliott is no can.

He was pretty much a can a few years ago, so okay, he did have a really nice late career turnaround (kind of like Jim Miller), so maybe I'll just stick with "journeyman" and edit my OP.

Mix was the worst to me because he was so freaking dominant in Bellator. As for Asakura I just chalk it up to not working hard on your ground and spending too much time with striking and brawling and that makes sense if you watch Rizin those lighter guys over there that's how a lot of their fights go.

Pico imo was overrated not saying he's not good but he was really pushed hard by the brass in Bellator even after crushing losses they would be saying it's a new and improved version of Aaron Pico and he had a few surprising losses so imo him losing this way in his UFC debut doesn't surprise me at all and the way he did.

Pico is great, but the guys defense is a disaster on top of having a glass chin.

Patchy is a bum, and the hyped random japanese guy performed like the other hyped random japanese guys.

Pico and Kai both looked good until their opponents found the exact moment to take them out. Mix, I dunno. I'll wait until his next fight.

I'll have to admit, I was not at all surprised how Pico's fight ended, just really bummed out. The UFC really rolled out the red carpet for him more than anyone else in these latest Bellator signings. The Mix fight was just weird, he looked bad, but I don't think he'll have a performance like that in his next fight. I want to give him another chance before writing him off completely, same with Pico.

Pico is new. He looked good but was predicatble and Murray smashed him on it.

Mix took a dive or just had a bad fight

Asakura - worst. 2 losses. Who was that guy who submited him.

Asakura got submitted both times.

Bro, you are asking who has looked the worst? That's the answer. You did not ask for us to project who will have the best run or comeback.

Well, you're fucking dumb because Pico got starched and Asakura got submitted by a bum.

Patchy's loss isn't all THAT bad. Bautista is a really good fighter who is 10-2 in the UFC.

Murphy is also undefeated and now 9-0 in the UFC so that isn't truly that bad of a loss for Pico.

Asakura is by far the worst.

RDR and Jiri are the exceptions. Bellator is something else though. None of these bums from Bellator are worth a damn. Let's not forget to add Michael Chandler, Will Brooks, and Marcin Held to the list.

Pico’s loss is huge as it will be a HL KO for years to come

For all the talent that young man packs he has gotten caught too many times while gun-slinging

He was already looking past Murphey and setting his eyes on Volk, which was a problem I thoughts leading to this fight

Asakura has a private wrestling coach, it ain’t enough. Perhaps train in America like Guchi did and improve that aspect with a room full of wrestlers to go against

Lets give Mix another go, he had the “deer in headlights” effect and it could be UFC debut “jitters”. Also I guess Mario is kinda good too so he must get credit

MVP was a good signing, Waldo Acosta was a good signing.
