They teach fractions and percentages in grade school math.

If you understood those concepts, you'd understand that you are, in this thread, supporting a policy which would allow people to murder one another and would affect blacks and latinos at approximately 18x the rate that it affects whites.

But that's cool, since safety devices on fire arms also clearly don't save any lives because they don't save lives every single time.

The reason they don't want one sold is it kicks these law in automatically and bans the sale of other guns.

Other gun people have a right to let it be know that any gun shop that s sell this gun will be boycotted in the future.

Repeal the law then sell what ever gun people want and if this is such a great thing it will sell it's self and no law would be required.

We can own fully automatic AK47's without this device.

It costs $200 for the privilege. I suspect this RF technology will cost quite a bit more.

Are you not following the thread? I just said that I don't mind this weapon being sold to people, as long as they know the gun is still dangerous. Take a nap little one, I was joking about the dueling thing because sohei made a dumbass Murica remark. I guess they didn't teach you reading in grade school? :icon_lol:

I'm glad you're not actually supporting that policy, but the fact that you can't see the racial component involved in such a policy is disturbing.

I know its technically possible but I thought it required a lot of red tape and cost so its effectively not possible for the average guy.

That policy wouldn't affect just minorities. I only said gangbangers would love it and you ran with it like a dog with a stick.

First to shoot has some advantage but in the heat of the fight it's not as big of an advantage has some believe, research shows this.

No.

The cost of the weapon is the prohibiting factor. Citizens are unable to legally own machineguns manufactured after 1986. Only those legally registered under the NFA pre-86 are transferable and thus demand a considerable amount for their owners to sell them. The actual cost of the transfer from the ATF is only $200 and right now the wait is about 6 months for approval.

So yes, the average guy can't drop $20k on a pristine full auto AK47 based on his income alone - but he certainly can save up. I guess the cost analysis is what it would take to convert an AK-47 into this new technology. I can only speculate as an amateur gunsmith that it would be considerable.
