Gearing up for a trip to Vegas this summer. Probably will be playing both at some point

Blackjack I enjoy because the whole table is against the dealer and it can be pretty fun provided everyone knows how to play. I do count cards ( although I usually only do so when I hve the table to myself)+ basic strategy, so I usually do pretty well. But it sorta depends. Sometimes, getting drunk and just playing is fun too.

Poker, i enjoy because of the atmosphere. Trying to fool the other players, etc. its fun stuff.

Anyways, for those who gamble: do you prefer blackjack or poker?

Poker because it's profitable to play against other players rather than playing against the house

Texas Hold 'em.

No question.

Any one can play the house, get lucky, and win money. But playing against another person, that takes balls.

Blackjack in the front, poker in the rear

Usually Blackjack. The only time I ever tried to play poker at the casino I was wasted. I told the dealer to hit me on the first hand and on the second I folded and stumbled away. I think i even left some chips on the table. I would like to try again sober.

Spanish Poker, also known as "synthetic poker", is a variation of texas hold em and is similar to Omaha Hold 'em

Liquor up front, poker in the rear.
Yes I know that, but the thread wasn't asking about liquor and poker.

So I just have to blackjack her in the front, whatever that means.

Blackjack. Much easier for me to deal with a dealer turning a 6 into 21...than watching some donkey hit his flush on the river and smash your pocket A's.

I play poker every now and then.

But I'm the type that plays for profit instead of the gamble unless percentage wise I should take the risk.

Usually if I win at least $100 I get up and leave. And i never take more than I'm willing to lose. At least not anymore lol

Pai gao poker. Spelling?

2 hands, must win/lose both otherwise a push. Very easy to stay at a table for a long time and as long as you’re tipping the waitress well, you’ll get a lot of free drinks.
