Are Kid and Akiyama cut from UFC?

I never said he gets big bonuses now. I said he got a signing bonus when he initially signed with the UFC. Just like all big name free agents get from the UFC. I don't think his base pay went up because he hasn't won a fight yet. The pay raise triggers set in the UFC contracts usually don't go up until you start winning fights.

yeah, i realise that. i just assumed you were implying that on top of the unsourced signing bonus, he was still getting paid extra on top of his 15k guaranteed. from your initial post:

Akiyama probably would have beaten Shields if he literally through 2 or 3 more punches. He did great in the grappling, actually outfought Shields in a lot of ways but forgot to throw any strikes.

I think they are to valuable to UFC making waves in japan for them to be cut. If they lose another, they may cut them but unlikely, they will give them easier fights i think.

Nope, I to thought it was close and would not have been surprised had Akiyama won. I loved his trips in that fight. If he had been just a TINY bit more aggressive it would have been his fight.

Sexy actually had some moments of shine, while Kid had sadly looked absolutely terrible in all UFC fights, as well as in Dream ones.

Probably no real reason to keep him his reaction after Lee defeat sadly says it all.

The funny thing with KID is that he still has the power since he rocked or dropped everyone he fought in the UFC including Mighty Mouse.
But his all round game is just not the same anymore.
