Because this is the type of guy whose training style will eventually catch up with him.
I love his warrior spirit and all around intensity but his recklessness holds him back and has already affected him. A loss to Pettis would have snapped his win streak yet he rushed his comeback and even opted to do his own physical therapy. I love his grit but you can be gritty and without being reckless. He could be an even better fighter with a longer career if someone could reel him in a bit. Unfortunately, Eddie Brah isn't the guy to do that.
I'm not saying to change his style or get rid of his tenacity but this is not the type of approach that is sustainable. When he starts losing to fighters that he could have beaten, none of us should be surprised. I'd like to see him get the real belt at some point though.
