Thought Nijem was going to beat Tony. Can't say I've ever been overly impressed with Tony Ferguson. But he's a character.

Well if you thought that you should have been impressed when Tony KO'd him.

And Tyron Woodley is 36. Reckless training is absolutely a factor in a fighter's longevity and how often they can compete.

I'm saying it's too late now. He's 35 and has done this stuff for years. He's already approaching the place where his prime will end. His fighting style (just inside the cage, forget his training) also has put him in far more wars than Woodley. Ferguson has literally never had fights like Woodley did against Wonderboy the second time or like he did vs Maia. Every Tony fight is all out action.

I'm not saying he might not get an extra year or so of being elite by chilling on some of the stuff he does. Maybe he could. But that stuff also makes him...him.
