Alright this is getting absurd. People need to start calling bullshit on these lib talking points that they think they can repeat and everyone will magically believe them. If this is true then there is no reason to expand the debt ceiling. But the truth of the matter is the rich will just pass this down to the middle class to bear and the middle class will sink closer to poverty.

These sick people actually want to increase the national debt. They love impoverishing future generations to make themselves and their cohorts richer.

So what if we do the tax increase without the spending portion? We could pay off the national debt within a decade.
The bankers profit from the national debt. The Rockefellers, Rothschilds, Morgans etc literally own the Federal Reserve. Decreasing the national debt means decreasing their profits, that will never happen. 3 US presidents were assassinated after trying to reduce the powers these powerful banking families have over the state. They are in total control of American (and most of the world's) politics.

The Trump tax cuts will pay for themselves. How'd that line sit with you?
The Trump tax cuts added like 1/30th of the debt in comparison to COVID-19 spending. In fact government revenue did not go down after the tax cuts (although that is likely just due to inflation). They had the benefit of encouraging growth on top of that, so that number is likely even less. Spending is the main issue in the American government, and the majority of that spending is social security, medical services (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.) and military.
