I'm ok with the mediocre Apex cards. These next 3 PPV's are stacked and I'm still getting to watch a card almost weekly even if they aren't the greatest.

Wait, how is it free? Is it on free to air TV in the states? In Canada you need a subscription to Sportsnet. Hardly free.

I am kind of indifferent to Apex cards. Yeah it would be better if they took the next 4 main events and put them all on one card at the end of the month instead of every week they would be stronger cards for sure but i am kinda in the camp to where i like having weekly cards.

I don’t really care about the lack of crowd but I don’t like the Apex because it just enables the UFC to put out a shitty product and it’s like they don’t even care anymore. I also think a lot of fighters are tired of the Apex which I believe has resulted in a lot of the higher ranked and bigger name guys being more inactive. I have no evidence to support my claim but it’s just a theory I have.

You're right, we are being cheated even though it's a free product, and that's because the goof himself promised this would never happen. His exact words were "we'll never become boxing", in reference to top heavy fight cards. But as long as we have these shilling, Oliver Twist ass shersheep holding their little slop bowls out for "mor",nothing is going to change.

Tl;dr: look at this neck beard complaining about free shit

I wish the Apex cards were top heavy, it's mediocrity all around.

I don't see the issue. They built a place to host fights to save money on renting out venues for smaller cards. My only issue is that the tickets to watch fights are stupidly expensive and ESPN is a rip-off.

More mma!! Oh know! Just watch the important fights the next day. I never can understand this way id thinking

The UFC has its head stuck so far up its ass on cost-cutting that it somehow didn't realize that an event in Vegas on the the day before the Superbowl was an absolutely massive revenue opportunity. The should have stacked that card, it would have brought in a huge gate with all the money in Vegas this weekend and gotten more eyeballs on the UFC to bring in new fans. They could have put ex-NFL player Austen Lane on the card. Eryk Anders and Zac Pauga would have made sense, too.
It's an interesting idea. So much going on in Vegas already with all of the Super Bowl events and celebrities coming into town. Kind of hard to say for sure the event would've been a huge draw. I can see how it could be tho.

Apex events were a necessity during covid and now they're happening out of sheer laziness. They should have been canned at least a year ago. Compared to a fight night at an arena they are absolutely terrible to watch. I'd rather get 2-3 events per month than one almost every week when half of them suck.

I don't think the UFC is dying. The next three PPVs are going to be great (though Toronto was dogshit) but the decision making from the UFC has been genuinely bad recently.

Russian link hack phone, see camera and see user fap to awkward pornos, bratha!

I'm curious how you all feel about the UFC choosing to continue to shove Apex cards down our throats in place of quality fights in arenas? Personally, I'm done with these events if they continue to be subpar, I feel like the UFC is cheating us even though they're free to watch.

The fights actually put me to sleep twice yesterday, if that isn't a sign of what kind of a shit product it's become then I don't know what is (rant over).

Fight quality is random. There are big names that have snoozers and nobodies that have wars. Yes there are some outliers that have style that tends to bring more action but overall its a matter of chance. The difference is all in your head--illusionary correlation.

As far as I am concerned. Fight are fights. Some nights you get lucky and it's all fire others you don't it's snoozer after snoozer

It might not effect the fights but it damn sure effects the fighters exposure and the fans experience. Plus, Dana said we would be done with the Apex a year ago.It sucks dick, and an overwhelming majority of people thinks so too.
He's perfect for when they can't get a venue booked yet. They'll start going to other venues more and more. Just seems like a weak reason to cry. We are blessed with fights almost every weekend.

We were blessed with fights every weekend before Covid. They weren't at the Apex nor was it shitty fights like they are now. And that's the soul reason why I'm complaining, we're getting screwed.

I have started to lose interest lately after some very boring low level apex cards. Several of the fights this weekend were boring enough for me to fast forward them (usually reserved for WMMA fights only)

I’ve barely missed a UFC event since 2010 but I think I’ll start skipping the Apex cards now and just watch the arena shows and PPVs

Apex vs quality fights is a non sequitur.

But I think I get what you're trying to say.

The fighters often give us great cards at the Apex, but Dana promised to get back on the road after Covid.

He is going the easy route and that sucks. An Apex card once in a while is fine... But do the fight nights at a fucking Hard Rock or something that has some fan participation...

Exactly, Covid was the worst thing to happen for us fans imo.

I've got a few mates who stopped watching APEX cards last year, they got fed up of the lack of atmosphere. I tend to skip more of them than I watch too, now.
