I remember when the same morons claimed Dan Henderson was gonna wrestle-fuck Anderson Silva and the other ball lickers foaming at the mouth that McNugget was going go KO Khabibi

To be fair, Hendo did wrestlefuck Anderson for a round. Not a terrible prediction at the time.

Usman in his prime is still a great match up worth speculation, but legacy wise it's really not close for the time being.

I think one thing that gets lost in the argument is how great those WW were in his time, they get dismissed quite often but guys like Nick Diaz, Carlos Condit, Jon Fitch, johnny Hendricks, Thiago Alves, Jake shields would be great fighters and contenders in 2024. Only a few like Dan Hardy, Josh koscheck, Sean sherk( speaking as a WW, guy is just way too small) would be sort of dismissed at the top of the heap now a days and even these guys are no bums.

You can see the improvements in alot of the GOATS divisions, BJ Penn at LW, Anderson Silva at MW, BW for Dominic Cruz, but at WW that argument doesn't quite hold water as alot of the top guys from then would absolutely be relevant in 2024 and really adds to GSP's Goat argument IMO.
