Anyone Heard this Story?

He's a troll from like 8 years ago. Jack Savage says he's ProboxingInsider, but I don't think I'd put my money on that.
he is definitely fixated on that. i think i counted once and he had like 48 posts talking about el viejito. even 9/11 truthers are thinking he should give it up

he was ready to kill and then got doubts when he realized he'd probably die first

First the mattress-girl now this guy lol gives me a little bit of a jaded view on Columbia university. Right now I have a girl that rents a room from me that goes to there and she still thought the whole mattress-girl rape was real, felt a little bad telling her about how that girl went on to make her own sex tape, which was basically a simulated rape.

Why in the world would he be arrested? He made a mistake, he realized it, and now he's being punished for it. This is a huge mistake by the United States. So I guess it is better to just stay and fight for ISIS
He made a GRAVE mistake. Now he should face the consequences or how can we trust he won't continue to ally himself with ISIS?

I realize you're being sarcastic but didnt his wanting out just prove that it is peaceful? And here we are, the Christian nation, doing a very unchristianlike thing. I do hope Obama steps in and corrects this problem
We are not a Christian nation. We are a nation of religious freedom. He was free to be Muslim here and live freely, he chose to go fight with ISIS. THERE IS NO COMING BACK FROM THIS DECISION. How are we to know he won't carry out attacks once he's pardoned? This individual should be killed by firing squad without a doubt in my mind.

I've had a lot of regrets in life. I almost got expelled from my catholic school for stealing the wine used for prayer service, my girlfriend in college talked me into taking molle and I ended up getting a DWI ending up in the drunk tank. At least I wasn't dumb enough to join a murderous insurgent group like ISIS, Murica.

People don't join ISIS out of pure intentions, there's a good chance he has participated in killing and raping of his own before regretting it. His behaviour is completely unforgivable and indefensible.

I don't have to sympathize with that. You're playing this off like it was an honest mistake.
Perhaps. But I give him the benefit of the doubt. I almost joined the military after 9/11, but I'm glad I didn't make that mistake because I now realize that war is more about profit (at least for the US) than it is about freedom.

And before you say it's not the same thing, hundreds of thousands (or more) innocents have been killed as a result of our Iraq invasion which was unnecessary to say the least.

It's not the same. A better comparison would be if you joined the taliban after 9-11.
