Now this is shit posting.
Now this is shit posting.
All these stories of rich, well off, well educated Muslims taking up arms really puts a huge hole in the whole "it's not Islam it's poverty and joblessness!" theory that dumbfuck liberals espouse. Just look at Bin Laden and all the people from rich Gulf countries fighting in Syria. For real, this guy was a student at Columbia....a lot of good that education did him....
On one hand, I do feel sorry for him. No matter how you slice it, he's still eating a shit sandwich. You gotta sympathize with that.
On the other hand, this guy went to join our ENEMY. Our enemy who wants us all dead.
International terrorism isn't just something kids experiment with in college. He didn't smoke a joint--which only affects himself--he traveled the globe to support a terrorist group known to torture, maim, and kill innocents to further their cause.
And the only reason he wanted out is because realized he's too much of a pussy and couldn't fulfill the obligations he chose for himself--not an endearing trait in and of itself.
At the very least, he needs to be banned from the country because, even though it wasn't quite as fun as he'd hoped, he still has extremist beliefs. I won't shed a tear if he sees jail time before being booted, however.

Cliffs:
-Young Muslim student (Mohimanul Alam Bhuiya) from Columbia Iniversity decides to go to Syria and fight for ISIS.
-Months later he's very much regretting his decision
-ISIS takes Mohimanul's passport, preventing him from leaving the country
-Mohinmanul emails the FBI requesting help in escaping from ISIS/Syria
-Before FBI replies, Mohimanul escapes on his own and makes his own way back to the US and is immediately arrested and now faces 25 to life in prison.
Did this guy really think that that any federal agency would assist him? The idiot is a traitor, i'm suprised they didn't just just him down, seeing as he's a known ISIS soldier.
thoughts?
How did he even get back here? We let a lot of ISIS members on planes without passports?
And invite him to the White HouseI'm surprised Obama didn't pardon him, remind us of how peaceful Islam is and set him up with a place to live and some social assistance.
I feel kinda bad for him.
Instead of 25 years in prison you could do something productive out of this situation, like lecturing other Muslims of how ISIS sucked and stuff.
Play dumbfuck games win dumbfuck prizes.
Did he think jihad was gonna be fun?

Why in the world would he be arrested? He made a mistake, he realized it, and now he's being punished for it. This is a huge mistake by the United States. So I guess it is better to just stay and fight for ISIS
