Anyone get a bit annoyed with the Diaz bros constantly turning down fights?

I'm fine with it because Diaz hasn't been entertaining since he fought BJ Penn.

Am I the only one who gets annoyed by their antics? Nate fought 3x in the last 12 months so I'm not too annoyed by him. But Nick Diaz hasn't won a fight since my grandma graduated high school. Just how often are we willing to pay $60 to see Nick lose to a superior fighter in a non competitive UD? (Not me though I stream ilegally, whats up)

All kidding aside, I just want to see Nick fight and i'm annoyed by him always turning down fights. He's still riding the wave he created by beating fruit loops in Elite XC and Strikeforce, those waves faded out a long time ago and now he needs some new shit to make fans care. You can only go so long on a losing streak before people just stop giving a fuck about you.

In before Diaz dick riders flood this thread.

You're right ts, its annoying as fuck. And it's because I enjoy watching them fight. Yet in recent years they turn down most fights offered to them. Nate has been beefing with kebab for a long time, brawling with him in casinos and shit; yet he's offered an interim title fight against him with a huge pay day and a chance to fight McGregor for a third time and get the biggest pay day of his life/ get the only title he's ever had, and he won't do it?

"So gangster and real"

I couldn't care less if they ever fight again.

No I get annoyed when people don't recognize them as the GOATs and don't admit Nate is up 2-0 vs Conor
LOL goats that can't stuff a takedown against the worst Wrestler, or check leg kicks? And Conor handedly best him and whether it makes you cry at night or not the records will state that buddeh.

And personally I couldn't care if they fight again, they expect huge paydays when they haven't evolved since the day they started mma, if you want to beat a Diaz the template is there for all to use.

If they didn't draw big ppv numbers, they wouldn't be able to call their own shots, that simple.

not really, its their own careers going down the tubes, if they have an inflated sense of worth thats their fault

Nick moved up to fight the GOAT, after just fighting another GOAT, and this time the GOAT he fought was roided to the gills...

he has earned the right to call his shots.

Yeah, as a long-time UFC champ he deserves.......oh, wait.... (never happened, never gonna happen)

Since he wins all of his fights he deserves......oh, wait...... (he can't even remember the last time he got the 'W')

Since all of his fights in the last 5 years have been so awesome......oh, wait..... (bad, worse, bad, bad, bad)

Since he can be counted on and isn't constantly in danger or being suspended.....oh, wait..... (enormous chance each fight never takes place or gets changed to NC)

Personally, I can't believe the dude still has a job. He's earned exactly nothing in terms of leverage with the UFC.

They don't. That's why they have to hold out for big name fighters who will bring in the PPV numbers.

If they brought in the numbers themselves, they wouldn't care who they fought.

No.
That's the troll face!

I don't think you understand the concept of 'Greatest Of All Time'. By definition, there can be only one. And even if AS wasn't a cheater, and therefore not even in the GOAT conversation, AS still wasn't close to being the GOAT. GOAT's don't lose in their prime. GOAT's don't get dropped from their contracts for losing.

It's not as annoying as someone lying about their Grandma graduating college.

They just wanna bang bro. Under the right circumstances.

Fuck them and caspar gomez

No, nick KO'd Lawler at UFC 47.. he is a OG, he has no aspirations of climbing the title ladder.. he just wants to pop in when he feels like it and fight. He said earned that right.

I think they've wasted a lot of their careers with this kind of thing. They have a following, so it's not like they don't bring anything to the table, but I think they completely overestimate their bargaining position and value. If they had just gone out and fought I think they would have made a lot more money.

why lose to shitty fighter while you can lose to good fighters and get paid a lot more?
