Anyone else think Moose would DESTROY Izzy?

Here's the fight, for those that didn't see it. Mousasi had a strong round one but faded in the later rounds as a result of the damaging leg kicks. Moose does what it takes to get the win. A fight with Adesanya would go the same way.

Mousasi has very good striking and power. If he can KO iron chinned Dan Henderson and LHW Santos, he definitely can KO Adesanya, who has been KO'ed before.

Nah. The Izzy who broke Costa is a beast. He's an Anderson-level counter striker and now he's shown he can be the aggressor as well. Trying to come in to close distance and wrestle is suicide unless you can get him off guard imo

Moose only throws single , sluggish jabs and is a complete plodder, gastelum probably knocks him out in 3 rounds.

No I don't think Gegard could do it. He'd do better than most of the division due to his kickboxing experience, power, and chin but I think he'd be a step or two behind the entire fight.

What evidence do we have that Moose hits harder than Izzy? lol Costa and Whittaker ate bombs from Romero and went the distance with him, yet both got absolutely starched by Izzy. Not only does Izzy probably hit harder, he’s in a different tier from a technical perspective as well. The only thing you could say Moose is better as is wrestling and grappling, but outside of the first round last night, he had trouble taking down and holding down a career WW who has historically struggled with grapplers. I don’t see how you watched that fight last night and said “Man, this guys would give a 2020 Adesanya problems.”

Mousasi has good grappling and kickboxing but to me he doesn't really have great synergy between them the way someone like GSP did.

He seems to be either in kickboxing mode or wrestling mode so that even if he has the grappling advantage over someone he's not necessarily that great at forcing it, not on high level opponents with good TDD at least.
