Jones tested positive multiple times.

I've lived in Japan for the past 26+ years...so, no...don't really "miss" it. I'm usually really happy when I can travel overseas and speak in English.

LMAO! As opposed to the modern UFC, where not only do you have the same problem as above, you have to deal with roiding cheaters like Jones and Brock getting special exemptions.

Imagine a fighter like Jones becoming rich in his early 20s,the access to even better roids than he had before,and then regular dudes just trying to do it the right way.

eh, that's not true at all man. i vividly remember ordering that pride fc where ricco fought big nog off of comcast. they had it. back then too, there were plenty of amateur sites/blogs which routinely posted the full events, hours after it happened. pride had a presence on the PPV stage. what fucked them was losing their SKY tv deal, they couldn't come back after that.

The ruleset too, is by far, the best for MMA and simulates a real fight like no other. You can't stall with wrestling, you will get kneed. Side Control was just as vicious as mount, if not even more so, due to the fact that you will eat knees like a motherfucker if you don't try to regain guard ASAP. The 10 minute first round, which separated the men from the boys. Pride FC was the best.
