My inlaws snow bird in AZ, and last few years we've gone down to visit them during spring break with the kids.

They'll take out to dinner a few times over the week, and while I will never complain about a free meal, they always insist on taking us to Cracker Barrell. The food is fine, but everything they take is to is similar American cuisine.

I never like going to those places because that kind of shit is cooked at home easily. When I go out to eat I want to get something they do better than what I can make at home, so I'm always thinking some ethnic cuisine. Thai, Greek, Japanese, itilian, Mexican, Korean, etc. That's he stuff I crave.

I came to Sherdog to read people flipping out about the Cracker Barrel logo change, or to read people making fun of people flipping out about the Cracker Barrel logo change. This was all I could find (plus a couple threads about a NASCAR race named after the restaurant).

Color me a disappointed cracker.

Every once in a while I like going into the store though. The magas are coming with pitchforks with more go woke broke nonsense... But seeing as though they're already circling the drain I don't see how it'll matter.

Besides if I'm just getting basic ass American food that's not a drive through, I'll find something local. Small town diners, supper clubs, and townie bars are the tits.

Here's a pro tip: if you've never been there before, just ask them what they are known for and order that.

Never been a fan. All the food I’ve tried there is bland at best. You can easily cook the same food at home for half the cost. I’ve always considered it an elderly person’s restaurant.
