Anyone else a liberal and dislike AOC?

Wanting government force to restructure institutions so that incoherent, revisionist concepts basic to human identity replace the coherent ones used for thousands of years is not some "bullshit political football", if by that expression you mean an unimportant issue.

I'm referring to the vote on the Equality Act.
The Equality Act would be better if it stuck to sexual orientation rather than "gender identity". That said, I'm not going to let that one vote (which was inconsequential anyway with Trump in office) overshadow the fact that I agree with her on the most important (economic) issues.

What are these most important economic issues you're referring to? What policies does she support that you find very important and what do you think their effects would be?

Single-payer healthcare/Medicare For All, universal public college, living wage, ending private prisons, etc. These would all have highly positive effects on society, especially for working and middle-class people.

I used to be a liberal and now I'm not. Actually I still am, but I don't have a party that represents me anymore. So now I'm left with voting for the party that I think will provide a better tomorrow for my kids. It's not an easy choice sometimes.

Single payer would increase wait times. People who already have good health insurance would end up with worse healthcare under SP.

College is an investment. If college increases a person's income over his lifetime, he's getting a ROI. Let him pay for it.

"Living wage" is a misnomer. Plenty of people working minimum wage jobs are obese. They have more than enough money to live.

Why are "private prisons" such sn important issue to you?
