You sure? With all the 'positive discrimination' and 'quota', I'm not so sure about the quality of any POC in a high position.
 
I'm not a Liberal but here's my take on her: She got a bullshit degree in College, ended up as a bar tender, and was lucky enough to land in "Uncle Ted Kennedy's" lap which gave her political aspirations a push. She moves on to the Sanders campaign. She invents herself as a Hispanic "Jenny from the Block" type despite attending nicer schools and growing up in a nice 90% white neighborhood.

She's a schmuck and those that voted for her are schmucks but she's not a complete idiot.

So their major differences on key policy like healthcare, economic issues and education are "trivial" but their rhetoric on some bullshit political football issue is what counts? Also, what "vote" are you even referring to? When did this supposedly come to a vote?

Do you understand why we pay members of congress? It's not because it's a particularly hard job.

I'll give you a hint. It's the same reason intellectual property theft is a giant security risk when you grossly underpay your employees.

I find it funny that the right refer to her as a bartender. Such disdain for the working class. Unless it’s farmers and coal miners and you need their vote.

Wanting government force to restructure institutions so that incoherent, revisionist concepts basic to human identity replace the coherent ones used for thousands of years is not some "bullshit political football", if by that expression you mean an unimportant issue.

I'm referring to the vote on the Equality Act.
 
She’s “ok.” Sometimes I like what she says/does, sometimes I don’t. I think her inexperience shows sometimes. It seems like the right wing hyperfocuses on her a lot more than the liberals I know, but that’s just my perception.

Exactly. Working jobs like that to put yourself through school and eventually serving in Congress sounds like the American Dream to me. Not quite sure why that aspect of her history gets shit on.

I have some issues with AOC, but what she did with Amazon is not among them.

She was 100% right about Amazon. For those who missed the news, Amazon is still going to build their facility in New York without the corporate giveaway that they tried to extort from tax payers.
