they are very hard to catch...seems most of the times in the states it is an accident...like they get pulled over for some minor offense or some shit. And also correlating these murders to the same person really take like the FBI type dudes. Something like 95% of murders in rio go unsolved.

That's cuz they don't want to devote the resources necessary to have the proper evidence to convict these low lifes. Call it a form of population control. Now if it happens to someone important then that's a different story..

I have read up on pretty much all serial killers. The one that stuck with me the most is William Bonin. The way he would lure young boys into his van, rape and viciously beat them before killing them was very disturbing. He usually had an accomplice who would casually drive around LA while he would have his way with the boys.

He ripped out all handles and made it so there was nothing for the boys to grab while he tortured and raped them. He hid various tools and instruments in the van to aid in his torturing. His favorite thing is what he called "the screamers", the boys that screamed out the most from the beating/torturing/raping/killing. He did this to between 30-40 boys in a relatively short time. He said with each kill he got better and better at it, by the end it was laughably easy to lure and kill the boys.

Good list man. Berdella is a real blast from the past / dark horse - such a warped fucker, that prick.

A couple of other dark horses that were really sadistic/sick - Bobby Joe Long and Gerard Schaefer.
