Anybody here have a favorite serial killer?

Australia's Backpack Murderer, Ivan Milat. He was a truly deranged and sick psychopath.

Having a favorite serial killer is like having a favorite disease or a favorite physical deformity.

Mikey from the old commercials. He kills the f*ck out of cereal.

I'm not a great fan of serial killers as such but I'd have to go with Panzram. I think it's the 1000 + sodomies that swings it for me though.

Personally I'm more of a mass murderer type of guy. A lot of those dudes are way cooler and more stylish than those creepy serial killer mofos.

Take Anders Breivik for example. Cool as a cucumber and just look how sexy he looks posing in his compression top here...

And how about Seung-hui Cho? That dude looked straight up badass like something out of a John Woo movie dual wielding those hand guns

And how could we forget James "The Real Joker" Holmes...

I'll admit it. I have a major fascination with serial killers. If there is a documentary on one, I'm watching it. The 2 that stick out in my mind as the most interesting cases are Edmund Kemper and Jack the Ripper. Kemper is fascinating to me because he was an absolute genius with a reported IQ above 160 (some reports as high as 180). Jack the Ripper is interesting because of the mystique behind it and the "who done it?" aspect of it. I have a pretty good idea of who it was (or at least have it narrowed down to 2 people). BTK, Ridgeway, and Bundy are also quite interesting to read up on. BTK solely because he took a major hiatus but the something triggered in his brain and he went back to it.

I'm a serial crasher not killer

nah you just seem like the kind of guy who would be into serial killers. news clippings pasted all over your bedroom walls and so forth.

Not "favorites." I think you mean most fascinating. HH Holmes is a fascinating story

I liked Panzram because he was such a MEAN no bullshit guy. He knew exactly what he was,how he became it,and was completley unapologetic about it. I wont say im a fan of his or what he has done, but more in that i had to admire the double middle fingers to the bitter end. The stone cold steve austin of murderers.

What about the time he ass raped that little boy before he flattened his skull with a rock?! That was pretty cool huh , teehee?

The only way you could romanticize any of these people or this shit is by being too dull to realize that actual horrible suffering was mostly arbitrarily inflicted on actual people. It becomes more an abstract concept rather than a real one the farther down the bell curve one slides.

Clippy does like his clippings

I love how some criminals try to justify things by saying they didn't harm women or children!

I think 'favorite' is probably the wrong word, but I'm really interested in all serial killers.
Have read countless books, watched countless documentaries etc.

I've currently got a book on Richard Ramirez and a book on John Wayne Gacy to read next after I finish what I'm on.

Nothing wrong with being really interested in serial killers.
Some people like to bury their heads in the sand and pretend such depravity doesn't exist, I prefer to know all about it.

As folk have already said, 'favourite' might be an odd choice of word. But I am fascinated by them. From when I was an edgy 15 year old, right through to my current incarnation as a white ppl.

Bundy's was a horribly amazing story. Dahmer's shrine was something straight out of Hollywood.

But one of the most chilling things for me is still the letter written by Albert Fish to the parents of a little girl he killed. It's online. Have a read.

And as someone ITT mentioned, Ramirez was terrifying.
