Anybody here have a favorite serial killer?

I like Dahmer but the born again Christian shit at the end really rubs me the wrong way.
Dahmer was well on his way to killing all gay people on earth...even though he himself was one.

I liked Panzram because he was such a MEAN no bullshit guy. He knew exactly what he was,how he became it,and was completley unapologetic about it. I wont say im a fan of his or what he has done, but more in that i had to admire the double middle fingers to the bitter end. The stone cold steve austin of murderers.

"I wish the entire human race had one neck and I had my hands around it."

Hard to top that.

I'm not sure you'd be going for the right reasons...
I heard it would be a super sad place to visit...It would be crazy as hell being at a place knowing all those horrific acts took place at a location you were currently at

ah there is no right reason to go to a place like that. Most people want to go because its there, and why not?

It sucks that such places cant be visited devoid of annoying tourists though. A few times in europe i needed to wait for things to die down and idiots to move on so i could soak in some serious shit aye. Actually skipped out completley on the katacombes in paris for this reason...ill check it next time.

I just feel like the serial killer tourism / memorabilia thing is already creepy and disturbing, and it's a real disservice to humanity if that approach is extended to genocides.

Serial killers are an interesting phenomenon and they require study...but there's a difference between Ted Bundy's knife and Mickey Mantle's baseball glove, and not everybody seems to know the difference.

ts,if you'd met one,your opinion would change.

America especially seems to have a very strange facination with serial killers.I dont know,as of yet those who are into that kind of stuff..i guess it doesnt disturb me,but i never cared to own something related to a crime or write to a killer myself. I prefer to just read about it,or watch a youtube clip.

People will do whatever they do, and I won't get bent out of shape about it. I just hope that if somebody actually visits Auschwitz or the Killing Fields or the Babi Yar Ravine, they take a moment to think something other than "whoa, trippy bro!" and take a selfie.

Jacob Bronowski did it right...

Whacky thread
I don't have a favourite crazy person who kills innocents .

Not seeing any mention of that South American one that killed like 100ppl

Holy fuck lmao...I always wanted to visit a concentration camp though
I went to Poland in 2013 and went to the concentration camps. It didn't really irk me out at all.. but they kind of run it like a amusement park now...

Anybody on here watch American Horror Story: Hotel? They had actors portraying Gacey, Ramirez, Wournos, Dahmer, and Zodiac in dramatic roles. I find serial killers fascinating but I thought it was a little macabre considering the victims' families are all out there somewhere.

I'm gonna go with a hipster choice that you've probably never heard of. Harvey Carignan aka The Want-Ad Killer aka Harv The Hammer. He was known for having "superhuman strength" according to police reports. He had an ape-like build, long, thick muscular arms and huge hands. Even today, at nearly 90 years old, he's still scary looking. It was reported that even into his mid-70s he was still able to do one-arm pull-ups for up to 15 minutes. As a middle aged man, law enforcement officers reported he used to easily do one-arm chin-ups from the bars above his cell for 90 minutes to two hours. His jailers have described him as the most evil prisoner they ever encountered. He once ruptured one of his victim's skull from chin to forehead with a single punch.

pretty sure its a white ppl thing to "like" serial killers. swear to god. ive not met one weird ass person that liked serial killers that wasnt white lol.
I'm from Wisconsin we have the most serial killers per capita in the states and for some reason we're damn proud of it

Oh wait, it has to be a real one?

If there was a serial killer that only targeted serial killers, I would be his fan.

Buy a plane ticket, go to Krakow and visit Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau.
It's not exactly hard hard to do.
You won't find it full of fanboys like you however.
