Anybody here have a favorite serial killer?

Can't beat th zodiac killer. I still look to see new suspects. Dude wanted to be caught and thru sheer luck and failed police work got away.

BTK solely because he took a major hiatus but the something triggered in his brain and he went back to it.

He didn't go back to it, he just didn't like being out of the headlines and started taunting the media and police.

Pretty surprised he didn't kill again during that timespan, I'm sure he was planning on it but he was a dude who stalked people for a while before doing the deed.

The best part about Rayder is as smart as he was, dude could have gotten away with it for longer if he wasn't so arrogant and attention starved, what got him caught is that he ASKED THE POLICE if a floppy disk could be traced, then believed them when they said no. What a fuckin moron.

Nah they are all pieces of shit. But The Zodiac is the one that I find most intriguing. Just how he was able to evade capture and all.

Who is your favorite serial killer and why?...Mine would have to be Richard "The Iceman" Kuklinski...The guy was a straight savage and he killed only men...No women or children...He didn't pry on the weak like some other pussy serial killer (besides bums, but everybody knows they don't count).View attachment 174065

He wasn't a serial killer in general sense. More of a mob hit man.

What about the time he ass raped that little boy before he flattened his skull with a rock?! That was pretty cool huh , teehee?

The only way you could romanticize any of these people or this shit is by being too dull to realize that actual horrible suffering was mostly arbitrarily inflicted on actual people. It becomes more an abstract concept rather than a real one the farther down the bell curve one slides.
tee hee!

He started off as a serial killer before the mafia hired him as a hitman

I like how people always have to come in and try to take some moral high ground in threads like these, like it isn't human nature to have morbid curiosity about this kind of shit. Like we don't pick and choose the most fucked up stories to watch on the news and focus on for months after they happen. It's perfectly normal to be interested in serial killers and be fascinated by their stories. Who gives a shit if someone thinks one story is better than the others and says it's their favorite? You're not making any kind of a stand by saying murdering innocent people is wrong, you're just being a :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

Personally I'm more of a mass murderer type of guy. A lot of those dudes are way cooler and more stylish than those creepy serial killer mofos.

I think Adam Lanza is the most interesting mass murderer. Dude had his windows covered with black garbage bags and then duct taped so that no light could get in. He would obsessively edit the wikipedia pages of other mass murderers to get the details right. Apparently he would only leave to go play DDR by himself for hours at a nearby theater.

Plus, you can read a bunch of his posts still.

Then there's the whole thing with people thinking Sandy Hook was a hoax, that adds another element to it. I obviously don't think that, but it's another layer to the story.

Not seeing any mention of that South American one that killed like 100ppl

Luis Garavito and Pedro Alonso Lopez are both in contention for the Colombian GOAT serial killer. Lopez got released and Garavito will probably get out as well. Crazy sentencing laws.

Gary Ridgway isn't shit compared to these Colombians.

What really annoys the piss out of me is when people refer to Charles Manson as a serial killer.

Thank you...you get it!

Yeah exactly. It's strange how so many people refer to him as a serial killer.

Another serial killer I haven't seen mentioned is Dr Harold Shipman.
He killed at least 250 people but because he did it in a 'boring' way, nobody really talks about him!

Does he really fit the definition of "serial killer," though? As a contract killer, isn't that more of a trade than a diagnosis.
