Crime Antifa gets cancelled

"organizing" a protest in the name of a concept is not the same as being part of an "organization."
If you organize people together with common cause or purpose then you have become an organization. You have a shared logo, you have branded social media accounts or chat rooms, you have merch... you are a group/organization.

Do you think it really matters? Like somebody who pledges allegiance to ISIS, can only be investigated if it's proven they have had contact with the leadership of the group? If they commit violence, are they only gonna be charged with terrorism if they find their ISIS membership card?
Those seem to be the questions my lil heretic..

Just with a different acronyms..

i really find hilarious the fact that "antifa" has become such a boogeyman

Antifa is just the first nebulous "group" of American citizens that Trump will launch attacks upon (well, apart from the ones that look like Mexicans). Look for transgender people to come next, and then gay people if he gets away with that.

so racists are an organization? recovering alcoholics?

so does the branding of "i love new york" its still not a tangible organization

Not on their own with that being the only defining trait, but it does not take much association and plotting to meet the common dictionary definition.

Some racists are in organizations (like the KKK), just like some socialists are in Antifa.

Some recovering alcoholics are members of Alcoholics Anonymous. AA calls itself a "fellowship", which is a type of organization.

They identify as Antifa. They wear a uniform and shout the slogans. They organize on the internet at central hubs, where individuals also identifying as Antifa tell them when and where to be, so they can engage in activities with a sole purpose. That's an organization.

help me understand this. If I get on Facebook and say, “hey everyone, let’s meet at lents park and play kickball this Sunday, 2pm.” We are now an organization?

Adapt away, just keep it within the confines of the constitution
Yeah sure. Maybe they will. Maybe they will send Antifa to gitmo to have hummus shoved up their ass.

Do you do it repeatedly? Do you wear special colors to identify yourselves? If you do that's called a league or a club. So in that case yeah you would be.

I’m gonna try to take you seriously in this discussion, but shit like this makes me question that decision.

How so? If every Sunday I post “kickball, 2pm at lents park! Everyone welcome” how does that somehow become a club? Or a league? Can you explain what transformation takes place, and how?

We don’t have teams, we don’t have positions, we don’t have any structure what so ever except show up and we’ll play ball. I’m not the leader, I don’t make any decisions, there’s no org chart, I don’t have a second in command, there’s no application process, no uniforms, no structure what so ever except one person inviting others to show up to a place and do a thing,

I said a uniform in this context, but you don't think the same people meeting every sunday to do the same thing over and over again makes them an informal club? It does.

You don't make decisions? Pretty sure you pick the day, time and place.

That makes you the organizer, and the leader. Without you game doesn't happen.

It doesn't even matter really. Reasonable people are not going to give masked antifa thugs a pass over semantics. It's quite amusing watching you guys try and argue this.
