Media Anthony Smith: Jon Jones is very beatable

Anthony is a bit delusional himself. Someone should remind him of all his losses. His skill set is vastly inferior to Jon's.
Yeah this dude is annoying, he thinks he's better than he is. He's also constantly whining about not being respected, yet he says shit like this about other fighters. He said similar about Magomed Ankalaev and he got absolutely son'd. Then he went on to bitch about it and make excuses on the Bisping podcast. Dude has zero self awareness.
He’s right. Jones is very beatable. So was GSP. Yeah he had decent wrestling, but his striking and bjj were average. Anderson was also very beatable. Good striking, but his wrestling sucked. Khabib was also extremely easy to beat. None of these guys are all that good.
I guess nobody understood you were being tongue in cheek.
Anthony Smith is mostly right here.

People shouldn't even be upset, he's just stating the obvious.

I don't agree with every detail, but the main premise is correct.
It's the whole picture man, read the rest of this post.

Then why didn’t you beat him Lionheart? That being said USADA had Jones looking like a 46 year old man in his last fight.

Him starting out with saying "Jones is very beatable" made it a bit difficult to get his point, but I understand what he's trying to say.
Pretty much that Jones doesn't excel in one area of the game and that he mixes all his skills really well to beat and dominate his opponents.

I just think him also talking about hypothetical scenarios in which him and Jones competing in other combat sports lost me since neither have competed in boxing, wrestling or BJJ at an extremely high level to make comparisons like that.
Both have been at their best in MMA and we've seen them fight and know the result. Tbh what he said about Jones goes for him too along with many fighters, many guys with well-rounded skillsets would likely not do too well in those other combat sports either. It's not always been the case tho with some being able to do excel in other sports(Overeem in KB), but for majority of these fighters it is.

Overall IMO he just worded this very poorly.

For that matter everyone is very beatable given the perfect circumstances happen.

Hell, King Kong is beatable if only he trips on a bus and a telephone pole impales his heart lol.

The craziest thing to me is that Jones could of accomplished more if he wasn’t such a retard he’s the only man who can beat himself , jones in his 20s imo is the best fighter I’ve ever seen his boxing was his only weakness

His logic as to why Jon is beatable is ridiculous. You can argue almost every MMA fighter doesn't have one truly great skill, they just mix every facet of fighting well.

With his logic I can say I can beat a Godzilla if it is only 20cm tall and doesn't have fire blast.

Well, this is MMA... boxing, kicking, wrestling, jiujitsu
Leaving aside his steroids use, he was very good because he had all these + chin + cardio + fight IQ.
Sure, his boxing is not that great and let's say Smith beats him in a boxing match... but again, this is MMA.

GSP losses to Condit or Wboy in a boxing match too... what does this mean?
Silva losses to many in a wrestling match... does it make him less great?

I don't think we have seen a fighter who is the best wrestler in his division, the best striker in his division and the best bjj guy in his division...
