Why the fuck would any relevant boxer agree to fight him in MMA?
 
Boxing is such a mess when it comes to media, why are some many people walking behind Francis, pushing eachother, talking loudly during a press conference?

Especially one who can punch.

After the Fury fight I figured that anyone who took the fight 100% seriously would have the potential to make Ngannou look like an 0-1 boxer and Joshua basically did that. No way anyone else watching the Fury fight would let themselves come in unprepared.

He got knocked out in a fight. Im sure hes down right now but the money is the reason he went over to boxing. He will be fine in a few days

Congrats to Anthony Joshua with a devastating, one sided victory over Ngannou. He easily exploited Ngannou weaknesses. Ngannou was plodding around and sloppy looking not sharp at all. While Joshua was very sharp, his punches looked crisp on to the point obviously. I don't think Ngannou can do well against not only the top 10, with even top 20 best HW boxers. He just doesn't have the sharpness and the quickness of his punches, he's too predictable. His fight with Fury was anomaly indeed. I'd be surprised if he goes back to fighting in boxing. That's if someone offers him millions, but I doubt that even.

Although saying that, Ngannou should hold his head up high. Because he accomplished his dreams of being a professional boxer. Good on him. But I suggest to stay with MMA now and just fight for the belt in PFL.

I loved boxing before mma, the amount of shit slung at the sport because of that fat lump fury underperforming on here was crazy

I knew and said on here Aj would absolutely murder him. I don't like Him but he is too professional to take francis lightly

I did think it would go past 6, but Joshua was just levels above and didn't mess about
 
Seems obvious now. I think the attempt at boxing overall was expecting to lose just for the money grab with a very outside "but what if" puncher's chance, but going the distance with Fury for sure gave him some false confidence, and he really thought he was going to win this one. He obviously convince quite a few people, because Joshua was only a -340 favorite, where Tyson Fury was a -1400 favorite. He's never been KO, dropped or even that badly rocked before, so he probably thought at worst he might get punched up and never lands a big shot and just loses a decision. I don't think many predicted that a huge guy with a granite chin would just get completely mowed down and KO'd that quickly.

This is the answer. He most likely thought a decision loss was the worst case scenario.

I knew he was going to get KO'd but seeing it actually happen was absolutely bonkers. So weird to expect something but still be shocked when it happens.

Really hope he takes some time off. Christ it was like one of those videos from china where the piston vaporizes the worker
