Oh and thats why everyones hating in Woodley, he's from outside the UFC and 99% of Sherdog are zuffa zombies.

Got a bellator LW champ and strikeforce WW champ/strikeforce LHW champ. It's awesome.

Reem will be the next one.

It's pretty dumb statement .. considering most of fighters are starting their career from promotion other than ufc ..

There hasn't been such a thing as Strikeforce in over three years, and Strikeforce was part of the UFC since 2011.

These fighters are all UFC fighters, and they have been for a long time. Everyone started somewhere else prior to hitting the big stage.

This isnt a co promotion, a ufc fighter is champ. What a moron.

College players go on to be great pros too.

Fuckin sherdog.

Almost all fighters start outside the ufc. Are you glad to see kotc champs ? Roc? Cw?

Yeah, most guys fight in other organizations prior to joining the UFC.

They won because when they are signed, they inmediately received UFC super-powers which turn them from overrated can crushers to legit fighters

How don't you know that?
It is the 3rd clause of every contract, after dat Reebok money clause

We also have a cage warriors champ....fuck you UFC lol. What a shit thread.

The thing is, when these fighters were active in Strikeforce, the absolute majority dismissed them and Strikeforce as second rate. The truth is, almost every time the UFC has merged organisations, the people from the other organisation came in and took the belts. Bendo and Pettis came from WEC and took the LW belt, the HW, LHW, MW and WW belts have all been held by Strikeforce fighters.

So the notion of UFC's superiority is maybe not a myth, but it's to a far lesser degree than many understand or will acknowledge.

Haha everyones salty and trying to make it sound like they were born and raised in the UFC like Condit or Bisping.

You guys know damn well the difference between GSP and Overeem.

I don't think everyone is hating on Woodley because he's from Strikeforce. I think it's more the way that he got the title shot by sitting out and whining until the UFC caved after he only "earned" the title shot because Hendricks didn't make weight.

Exactly. Only UFC-haters see it otherwise. There's certainly nothing wrong with recognizing a fighter's pedigree, but fighters who fight multiple times under the UFC banner (spanning years), earning far more visibility than in any other org in the progress, are UFC fighters... not fighters of their previous org.

Literally no one is hating on T Wood because he's from Strikeforce.
