No I'm deadly serious. It's how these things go and you know it. Immediate assumption is he is a brown immigrant. Next they show a white guy. A section of society breathe a sigh of relief.

But then it all changed when we find out he's not a proper English white, he's one of those East European types that we thought we'd got rid of with Brexit.

Ethnic identity ping pong that seems so important to some. I'm not race baiting, I'm laughing at those that get so invested in race politics with an incident like this.

Get it through your sub normal head, in Europe we care less about skin colour and more about background/culture. That's your North American/Canadian hang up.

When the first wave of EU immigration hit in the late 1990s we had an enormous surge of polish/Lithuanians land. All 'huwhite' as you call them. We had the same concerns then as there was a lot of alcoholism, domestic violence, drink driving from what was a low skilled demographic

25 years later we have had uncontrolled immigration from places like Romania (actually Roma gypsies) Albania, Afghanistan, South Saharan Africa, Bangladesh, Brazil (through Portuguese passports) etc etc all bringing with them vile crime, complete disregard for societal structures and backwards cultures.

All whilst your fellow countryman, along with Americans and Australians are being deported as they don't meet the minimum income thresholds.

On the other hand we have Chinese, Turkish Cypriots, Sikhs, Filipino, black American ex-military service personnel living over here and loved for their contribution to society.

So don't tell me this is about race.

A lot of the country was in favour of pretty much importing Hong Kong en masse from what I remember.

I'm from the UK dumb dumb. And the riots show your assertion is not true for a significant number of the population. You are delusional if you think race wasn't the prime motivator for many of these thugs.

They were even stopping people in cars in middleborough to check they were 'white' and 'English'.

The stabber was even born and bred in the UK. The only thing to differentiate him was his race and autism.

Care to post some data to show that a 'significant' amount of native Brits care about skin colour. Or is it more the case that you're dishonestly using a couple of hundred rioters to support your confirmation bias that white Brits are inherently racist?

Are you saying the rioters weren't significant? Couple of hundred?? You are being disingenuous now.

They were certainly in the minority when the anti-racism protestors eventually hit the streets. But that doesn't mean they can be ignored as insignificant. What were the anti-racism demonstrators protesting against then? Maybe you should tell them they were confused.

I find it staggering you as ex-police could be so willfully blind to racism in our country.

It was a couple of hundred, prove otherwise. Even at the height of the worst riots the UK has seen, 2011, flashpoints barely reached a 1000.

Give me a figure on what is significant. How many would that need to be?

Maybe we can say that the Muslim Defence League groups roaming around with machetes attacking random people were a 'significant' portion of the UK Muslim population.

The UK is one of the most tolerant societies on the planet. I was a police officer for 25 years, it's a virtually non-existent problem
