Another one...smash burgers

bro, that's your place of lodging, and no one is ever gonna join you there
Even a dumpster is way above your level. You belong to the slums. Even the favelas wouldn’t want you

Fuck, IDK. I thought it was about the chain.
Either way, why smash all the delicious grease out of a burger? It makes no sense.
When you smash it like that. It's easier to create a maillard reaction. It is kind of like how a steak has a crust.

I think it's best to try it at a restaurant first to have an idea. The juice does leave the burger but you have the brown edges which are tasty. Sometimes they use onions to keep the moisture in. I know people who cook smash burgers at home but they don't have a press. They don't smash it hard enough so their end product is just a dry burger with no crust. You might as well not smash it in the first place.

you think my kids make smash burgers?

my kids do make meals, i don't know if you are too poor to take your family for a meal or not, or your kids don't earn enough to eat at decent places...but it sounds like that
lol at this pleb not having a private chef

I had this today At Sandy-O's
Pretty damn good.

Holy Smokes Smash.
Ground Beef Patty and Smoked Brisket, Fries, Pimento Cheese, BBQ Sauce, Lettuce, Shaved Onion on Soft Bun

my wife cooks me delicious fried onion burgers every week at home, don’t smash them though not sure why I would care what other people eat or whatever anyways

I have no interest, I don't have any desire to get lockjaw trying to eat a fucking burger and I am not using a knife and fork either.

You can do smash burgers and make them thick even. Use 8-10 oz ball of meat and smash to your desired thickness.

The smashing technique works well. I even smash burgers on wax paper and flash freeze them for outdoor grill with grates. They come way better than any pre formed burger, hand formed burger or patty making device.

The smashing weapon of choice

Go get yourself a grinch meal. Loser
While I agree with you that going out to a nice place with your family is a good experience, I can't fathom why are you so angry.

Nothing against smash burgers (and those who prefer them) but it's not for me, and not something I'll get when I go out to eat. If I'm taking the family out for a nice meal, there's 99% chance I'm getting a steak dinner.

Burgers need to be made from scratch only using fresh ingredients. Finally figured out a mean ground boar burger, it's been my go-to for the last little while. It's a little leaner and the flavour is crazy.

I like SB. Better than 5 Guys to me, which is so greasy you have to eat it on the toilet. The truffle fries are bomb too.

congratulations on your nuptials. I hope you have a SMASHING marriage. I said that because of the thread. Smashing is supposed to be good. I like smash burgers. That part is just about the burgers and not your marriage. That's cool but no disrespect. Pics of wife.

I didn't grow up poor but I did have a lot of siblings and it wasn't financially viable to be going out every night. What makes you so upset about the concept of cooking? Because to me your opposition to cooking just means you were too lazy to provide for your children on any given night.

i've honestly never had a smash burger. what's different to it from a regular burger in terms of taste? is there any?

If that were true you wouldn't have made this thread
