Crime Another mass stabbing uk. In train limited details

If the stabber is a product of immigration, then immigration is to blame.

There are many, many things that are the "product of immigration" all around the world.

Sooner or later you have to draw the line, like many Americans have done on their own white European heritage.

The ongoing dialogue about immigration isn't really centred on black English nationals who speak English with English names. It's tended to be obviously non-English speaking, non-Christian immigrants who don't or won't assimilate.

Can we at least stick to one playbook?

The politicians who are telling you to keep calm and carry on, and that you don't need weapons to defend yourself, are protected by armed police.
Damn right. That’s why I’m so pro 2A. The detractors NEVER live in the shit. They romanticize it. They would melt like ice cream in July if forced to deal with it. Clown world

I have family in UK. Is London worth visiting these days? I have a three year old. Was thinking of just staying in Scotland instead. I'm normally not someone to get affected by news stories like this but if it's becoming unsafe maybe worth skipping?

If you want.

As with any major city anywhere in the world there are places probably best not to go, but it's highly unlikely you'd end up in those places anyway.

I've been to London several times for sports or tourism and it's been as good as any other city.

I believe Glasgow is a little bit more dangerous than London but how you gonna notice unless you're going into shithole pubs in shithole areas and being obviously not local?

BTW, this incident didn't take place anywhere near London.

AFAIk the incident wasn't even in London, nor was the stabby cunt from there, all the previous incidents were Peterborough.

Even putting that that aside, deciding not to go to London as a reaction to this would be an over-reaction. I mean, I hate London, but I've never not-visited because of crime, there are plenty of things to hate about London above that.

when i do go to London, I literally never think about crime, never mind think about not going to London because of it. I haven't got a single friend there who has been a victim of violent crime so why the fuck would i run scared of it?

Yeah, I live a half train journey to central London, and even though I despise London (the only reason I ever go there is for site visits that I'm getting paid for) if it's your first time there's plenty of cool stuff to do.

Fortunately I did all that stuff about 20 years ago when London was way more cool

Its weird isn't it, i live in Birmingham the famous sharia law no-go zone, and i have a lot of friends i visit in London fairly frequently, and I never worry about crime in either. Its almost like the people taling shit about those places don't live there

There are parts of New York, LA or Washington that I wouldn't venture into without a team of heavily armed ex-Delta or SEAL shooters to watch my back. And I think you'd agree that most areas of these cities are perfectly safe as long as one exercises basic common sense.

London does have a problem with knife crime. However, random attacks like the one we're discussing here are, thankfully, relatively rare. The majority or stabbings in London are connected to the drugs trade and/or, "disrespect". Both are driven by what are known as Postcode Gangs: thugs from one part of London will be attacked with knives if they cross the boundary of an area controlled by a rival gang. Knives are the weapon of choice because they are much easier to obtain than firearms. Shootings are far rarer, and usually connected to the upper echelons of Organised Crime Groups.

If you stay in the tourist areas of London you should be in no greater danger than in any other major European city. The one caveat I will add is: be careful of your phone. There is an ongoing problem with thieves targeting people who use their phones in public. They often use bikes; they will ride alongside the victim, grab the phone out of their hand and be a hundred yards away before they can react.

I wouldn't be put off because of a loon.

I'd be out of because it's boring.

My old man lives in East London. I was just up there in September until we went on our holiday to Hungary .He lives in quite a rough part of Dagenham, if you just keep to yourself, you'll be fine. I fortunately live in the South West, fuck all crime and plenty of beaches.
