Anime and Manga v37

When the big 3 were going it was very popular.

Now only One Piece remains.

One Punch man and mob pyscho made small waves.

Toriko just finished and Hunter x Hunter is always on hiatus.
 
Lot of regulars either left the site or got banned as well. but yea Naruto and Bleach even for how disliked they were did keep people posting but yea it was mostly a lot of regulars stopping or getting banned over the last year or so.

The golden age of manga is over! ok only sorta + people have gotten older, life changes and tastes change as well. I always liked the small handful of people we had post here and lets be honest a lot of those pages were filled with completely nonsense sometimes lol
 
And many of those threads had literally dozens of One Piece posts for every. single. chapter. Plus there was detailed discussions of Naruto, Bleach, The Breaker, Toriko, Tower of God, Food Porn, all happening right along side that. Threads don't take long to fill up when you've got a guaranteed 100+ posts every week from just the popular series by themselves.
 
I'm trying to find the US sailor moon blu ray set. My little niece, 3 years old, is asking for it. I don't wanna give her the unrated Japanese version. Anyone got a link to the blu ray set?

Sort of this combined with a lot of people dropping off because Real Life happened, banned d/or major series ended so there's less to discuss since most everyone is usually on the same page.
 
JBS stop bringing up The Breaker it hurts me....I miss it so much.

I don't know how I feel about Food porn lately it's not bad but since the mini- time skip where Souma suddenly hit puberty like a ton of bricks just doesn't feel like food porn to me anymore even though it's still quite ecchi.

No given time table that I can every remember seeing.

Not really. The coloring is well done, the art design is decent, but the storyline and characters are boooorrrrrring.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but Food Porn seems to have lost something in the last year or so. I still like it, the characters are still enjoyable, but I'm not looking forward to the next chapter with the same kind of anticipation as I was back during, say, the "autumn election" arc.
 
Exactly! it's not like a barn burning read anymore. I like you can't pin-point a reason why just lost something like you said.

I know a lot of us like one punch man but I for one don't read the webcomic mostly because it's hard as hell to even tell whats going on with the art sometimes but Saitama and Genos are sparring again. time to see if the gap has closed at all.
 
Punchline is pretty decent. I like the animation it's pretty I didn't care too much for the story so I only got so far into it.

That's actually surprising. Whenever I see one of these lists posted I just assume One Piece will be at number one. I'd never heard of it either but after reading the synopsis I see why that is.

I've vaguely heard of it wandering around anime and manga sites or seen it's manga updates and paid it no mind. But this is actually quite surprising nonetheless.

Edit: Every time I see them, I'm always shocked at the amount of views Tsuyokote New Saga and Let's Lagoon have both numbering north of one millions views yet neither have anime in the works(Death Marching Rhapsody of the Parallel World does have an anime pending).

Wait...Tsuyokote New Saga and Let's Lagoon get that many views? In god's name, why? Two of the more forgettable series I've read. I mean, they weren't actually bad, but both are the kind of thing you read for a few volumes then put down and never bother to come back to.

Let's Lagoon - 1.3m with 4491 followers

Tsuyokute New Saga - 1.9m with 10521 followers

I like them both a great deal so don't ask me why since these numbers please albeit even I find them weird that they surpass stuff like Golden Kamui which sits a 729.5k with 3574 followers. Frankly I think it's their rather interesting premises and the fact that New Saga is a LN which plays with an interesting gaming concept of NG+. I remember you gave Let's Lagoon a B or B+, but I don't know if you ever reviewed New Saga.
 
Another thing that used to get talked about a lot here was Ippo and then it suddenly got super slow and just super un-interesting there for awhile + waiting for the scans.
 
Does anybody else 'round here read Gosu? This fight is shaping up to be pretty exciting.
