it seems to originate all online. it's fake news.
there's pictures of tate in bucharest from a couple of days ago, so the argument that the police needed "confirmation" from online sources that he was there, they already had it before the pizza thing. like the police wouldn't know where he was already.

this is just internet bullshit. i'm suprised so many people believe it.

Because the claim is pretty moronic. It's the same way fake news usually spreads online, where the sites and blue checks claiming it are just citing each other, but it eventually gets back to some online tabloid(daily star in this case) whose source is an American twitter user. That is how you get a few million people to believe that the Romanian equivalent to feds had no idea that a guy who lives in Romania was in Romania. They couldn't figure it out when he flew into the country, posted a bunch of other videos in Romania, they've been in his house before, but apparently it was because Romanian feds happened to be watching his twitter looking for Romanian pizza.

I think it's largely bot media looking for some way to tie Greta in to revive her career a little bit. Seems to be mostly the cheapy copy/paste media sites and twitter claiming that.

My personal belief is that there are forms that know we exist but don't consider us worth engaging with.

Remember the Mexico Gulf Oil Spill on 2009? How environmentalists were crying how oil would be floating around for hundreds of years? *Poof* its gone within 10 days.

So many activists claim we can build more nuclear power plants because there's no way to safely dispose of nuclear waste. Right? Yet no one's tried dropping it into the deepest depths of the Pacific Ocean that's literally 10,900 meters deep. Between the salt water and the ungodly high water pressure the nuclear waste would be broken up and dissolved before it hits the ocean bottom.
